This is a hard one, I think there is something to be said to being the first one out, but that could go against you especially if there are a lot of new obstacles, I think I'd like to run in the 70s when a few had cleared the first stage but not soo much that I'd been stood around all night waiting for my run at it, getting more and more nervous as the time wore on. So I'm plugging for 73! Hoping that that there is a 1st Stage Clear because some tournaments took at far as the 83rd competitor to get a 1st Stage Yeah I've heard there have been a few tournaments where the first stage has been a total bruiser. But I like to be optimistic!

I'd go #41. Mostly because I'd fail but I'd make it a few obstacles.

Whoops didn't realize I was the most overconfident person here lol.
While it is nice to get it over with, I'd actually choose 97. This way I could study the runs before me, but not have the pressure that the very greatest of numbers have put on them. Of course, I'd have to rely on the tournament to use the lottery system to determine running order; otherwise I would definitely be one of the lowest numbers haha

If it were backwards it would be 69. wait, if 69 is 69 backwards, why is 96 69 backwards too? Is this some kind of "2 squared is 4 regardless of whether or not it is a positive number" thing?

I think you're talking about flipping the number 180 degrees, while Wiin is talking about swapping the order of the digits...

I have such a fascination for the number 75 because of the Judge Doom line in Roger Rabbit of wondering what happened to toons when you're driving by on a freeway at 75 MPH, guess it stuck.

Number 6, in homage to The Prisoner tv series I'm not a number, I'm a free man!

80 because that's like in the middle of the beef and the big runs and all that. People are always excited for the last 20 or so runs

I'd be pretty low down the pack, so perhaps #16 or #36? Two numbers burned in my brain from too many years playing Pokemon that's weird because i made a fake competitor in sasuke and made a doc about all his performances and he made to the final in 16 and 36 and those where his only times making to the final and they were both near kanzens. i'll make a thread about made up competitors soon

I am probably #40 since Romania's country code is 40. I'd fail on the Rolling hill transition.

99, I'd want to be a high profile competitor but not the star of the show; wearing #100 has historically caused a lot of people to fail early due to pressure; think Akiyama in SASUKE 9, Ryo in SASUKE 31, Yuuji in SASUKE 26, Yamada almost all the time lol

For me, probably #91 because exactly like Morimoto in this case who is now the true champion, I've also been a fan of Ninja Warrior since 2007.

I’d probably say 26. Nice, early, not getting in anybody’s way. The only problem with this is that if I somehow clear stage one, I’d probably have to be the first to attempt Stage 2

They tend to get digested anyway lol

8. That's my fav number and I like to go early cuz I'll lose my adrenaline if I start in the middle or later. I still have high school flashbacks of choking in an 800m run cuz it's moved to the afternoon instead of the morning
