The course is good but the rule are BS. First, Brodie Pawson gets DQ'd for taking a shortcut on the salmon ladder, but then even worse, Andrea Ha reaches Floating Monkey Bars and Ben Toyer falls at the Salmon Ladder and Ben goes through coz AuNW counts them as the same obstacles and he got there faster so Andrea Ha is denied her perfectly legitimate claim to a finals spot coz of AuNW's s*** rules.

I dont like the fact Australian Ninja Warrior combined two obstacles to one. Sad to see Mike Snow, Andrea Hah, and Brodie Pawson not moving on to the Grand Final

Sad to see Mike Snow, Andrea Hah, and Brodie Pawson not moving on to the Grand Final I feel exactly the same: Brodie disqualified on a ridiculously minor detail, Andrea being robbed of a place because of s*** aussie rules and Mike coz he did so well on NWUK.

2 things:
1: Semi Final 3 is one of the worst designs EVER, due to the fact NO ONE FINISHED 2: The 1st GF episode will be absolutely smashed due to the House Rules GF on Monday

I think they made two big mistakes with the semifinals.
1. That mat is too hard to judge, the success rate on it has been far too low. That 4 failed there in semifinal 3 is very disappointing. 2. The failure to count the salmon ladder as a separate obstacle. They have been hyping up the women massively, too much in my view, but the stupid rule has cost them a woman in the final
Fred Dorrington has either done something to annoy the producers or we will be seeing a lot of him later, because he is being almost totally ignored.

2 things: 1: Semi Final 3 is one of the worst designs EVER, due to the fact NO ONE FINISHED 2: The 1st GF episode will be absolutely smashed due to the House Rules GF on Monday Semi final 3 had a pretty much identical course to semi final 1 where 3 people finished. The problem isn't bad course design, I think it's quite good coming from someone who follows quite a few ANW spin-offs, the problem's the producers inability to pick even semi finals, this was the weakest competitor field out of all the semi finals. Also, with you talking about the grand final already I'll put up what I know about the courses still to go so far for anyone who's interested (please note they may not be accurate as they are just predictions from photos and videos I have seen): {Semi final 4 course} Quadruple steps Log grip Broken pipes Spinball wizard Floating stairs Warped wall Salmon ladder Swinging frames Hourglass to tramp to cargo net Chimney climb to rope climb
{Grand final stage 1 course} ? Silk slider Broken bridge Ring jump I-beam gap Warped wall Salmon ladder Rumbling dice Flying squirrel ? {Grand final stage 2 course} Pole grasper Bar hop Spider jump Wingnuts Rail runner Salmon ladder Unstable bridge Wall lift
{Grand final stage 3 course} Curved body prop Hang climb Crazy cliff-hanger Iron maiden Floating boards Flying bar
STAGE 4: Mount Midoriyama (22m rope climb)

Yeah, they have only shown him on YT. I don't know why but I don't like it. But at least in YT, he gets shown

I heard Mike Snow also fell on the Floating Monkey Bars. The Semi Finals have been disappointing recently (The first one was decent).

I heard Mike Snow also fell on the Floating Monkey Bars. The Semi Finals have been disappointing recently (The first one was decent). The thing that annoys me is that a guy who fell on the first rung of the salmon ladder got through instead of Mike and Andrea who fell on floating monkey bars. The rules on AuNW are honestly the worst of any ANW spin-off I follow. Not just counting the salmon ladder and floating monkey bars as one obstacle but also DQs for not doing the precise number of rungs they want and they count the time as when you hit the water instead of the time you reach the obstacle so if you go far on an obstacle and fall your time will be worse off than someone who didn't go far and fell. *BTW, just edited my obstacle predictions above*

Stupid salmon ladder rules again totally messed up the correct order. Need to change a few things next season and this certainly is one of them. Also get the Warped Wall to 14ft.

If I'm right the wall will be taller in the grand final, it certainly looks different anyway. Counting the salmon ladder and the obstacle after it as one obstacle has been my biggest problem with this otherwise decent series. Can't wait for the finals - first ANW spin-off to have a separate proper stage 3.

I am not sure it is a proper stage 3. They seem to be doing stage 1 though 9 obstacles timed for 3:30, down from 3:45 last year as the first night of the grand final. Then I am sure they said it was going to be one run through 14 obstacles on the second night for stage 2. Then if anyone makes it Mount Midoriyama.

Just rewatched the preview part and they clearly say it will be "14 obstacles back to back to back" So no separate proper stage 3.

From watching the runs uploaded to youtube, the semi-finals difficulty level has varied a lot. Seems strange to me. Most recent semi looked very easy compared to the previous two.
Pretty cool courses though, mostly upper body challenges.

If it's not separate then it'll be absolutely brutal: {Obstacles spoiler (stage 2)} Pole grasper Bar hop Spider jump Wingnuts Rail runner Salmon ladder Unstable bridge Wall lift Curved body prop Ascending climb Crazy cliff-hanger Iron maiden (I think) Floating boards Flying bar

Stage 1 clear rate: 75%. I mean really. The semis were way harder but tomorrow will be brutal.

Yeah the stage 1 did not seem too hard.
I think they thought the time factor would play a bigger part than it did, but there quite a few who did not even go close to finishing their semifinal who made it easily through stage 1.
