Thought I'd start a topic coz no-one has yet. It's set to air on Sunday 8th July and looks to be a big improvement from last series. Twitter: twitter.com/ninjawarriorau

Fingers crossed for a good season. It took a long time for UK to hit its stride so I'm hoping Australia gets there a little faster. I met up with the Australian contingent at the NNL World Championship and they were all super nice (I still keep in touch with a few), so I'm hoping for a lot of success from them.

Wow, what a an amazing way to start season 2! {MAJOR SPOILER}We just had a woman beat the wall in the first episode. As I did last time, I'll be posting rating predictions. Tonight's episode I think will be really high, but not the 1.7 million from last year's premiere. I predict around 1.55-1.6 million.

I thought it was quite good compared to last year - the difficulty had clearly gone up a lot and I like how they've moved Midoriyama to the other side of the set to allow room for more obstacles and so it doesn't completely block the view of the obstacles in the shot of the whole set. But I do also have a few negatives: 1) They keep using the bridge of blades and although it's fine occasionally, seeing it week after week after week gets boring and repetitive. 2) I know it's quite minor but it keeps bugging me when they say that Australian ninjas are a 'different breed' or any other comments of that type when it's simply not true, and making up false facts eg. 'Australia is the first ninja warrior show to have a woman get up the wall in series 1' just annoys me even more. 3) They cut Fred Dorrington's run even though he was last man standing in series 1. 4) The commentary still isn't brilliant (and I'm looking at one person in particular).

About 4) I guess you're meaning that woman

Well, I was out in the ratings... I mean, it's still the most watched non-news program by quite a margin, and tbf, there is actually things competing against it this season unlike last year.

I always wanted UFO on a cannonball drop style track even before cannonball drop debuted but I never realised how brutal it would be.

It's been really interesting to see so far, some of the strongest competitors from last year going out early, and some unassuming newcomers doing well.

Well, that was... an interesting disqualification. If you could have used your hands, that would have been an amazing save there

I like how they're not doing a jump hang version every single week and they did the arms only rule on pipe climber. The more I watch this series the more I like it.

I think that overall it was a solid episode, although the second half was much better than the first half. The first half was just got repetitive with everyone failing the same obstacle, but there were some big shocks in that though.
I don't even know if I want to try and predict a rating tonight because 1) there was a lot of competition on the ratings 2) the ratings from last night. but I'll try: 750,000-850,000

The ratings landed within my range this time around, surprising I know. It came 6th overall, but after removing all the news programs, it won the night, barely.

What are the Basket Toss and Pipe Climber? The latter could just be a renamev of the Pipe Fitter?

Australia is the only anw's spin off that i followed . It has amazing potential, but here's a few : - commentator are meh (dont worry anw dix it too on their early years atleast till s4) - mini course . The course could've just bigger or set more elegant like anw instead of look mini and simple
