Well yes the Final Ring in 20 is the same as the Gliding Ring in 21 and 22, but in 18 and 19 in looks higher and the stopper is further away. That's just what i think

and once again it looks higher than the one in 20,21, and 22 so they probably were messing with it for those 5 tournaments, however that either means there was a modification on it from 20 to 21 *cough* grinding part *cough* or the version in 20 was falsely named.

I also don't see an angle in the 18/19 version either.

does not appear to be much of one no, perhaps this original version (18/19) worked kinda like the pipe slider the ring had to be helped across but did move freely enough to the point you did not have to put stupid effort into moving it( IE sasuke 21) but you kinda worked it along the track like the PS and then had to swing and jump at the end and try and keep the ring at the edge for you to do your jump at the same time - like how you had to keep the pipe from slipping back as you prepared your jump!

Where in Sasuke 20 did they call it final ring? When they showed the Final Ring with its picture at the end of Sasuke 20 the Kanji at the bottom translate to Final Ring as it did for 18 and 19. In 21 and 22 the kanji translated to Gliding Ring

At least withe the 'new and improved' Glising Ring, it's possible to get through it. In #21, it didn't or it was impossible as it we saw it. If Nagano would have had the #22 Gliding Ring, he's be a double winner. Unfortunately, things didn't work out but we all know he is the best anyways so big whoop-tee-doo.

I liked it more when it didn't work right.
And Nagano's victory would depend on how fast he can climb a ladder. Honestly, he's not that good at climbing ropes. Watching him climb, he's rather average. He only won in 17 because he's ungodly fast at spider climbing.

I would still say 17 seconds is still better than nothing.
Watching Urushihara take 30 seconds (approx.) to clear the rope made me painful. I don't think Nagano's gonna take more than 15~20 seconds clearing the ladder. That means that he would have enought time to clear the rope.

Have you tried it? Well alright, then. Besides, it didn't look like it was bouncing around everywhere.
