So currently the formant for ANW changed 3 times 1st.
1st was the fastest 30 finishers in each qualifiying zone advanced, If you were not in the top 30 you went home even if you cleared.
2nd was the if you clear you move on. WITH WILD CARDS
3rd is the top 5 women pass course 1 and the top 2 pass course 2. WITH OUT WILD CARDS
I honestly like and dislike each in their own way.

Wild cards would work for women, so I pick the 2nd one

The problem is that with wild cards it could turn out what ANW8 was where all 15 wild cards were women. The women's rule isn't a bad rule per say but with some fine tuning they can make it work. Heck I'll take Arsenette's suggestion on how to fix the rule.

edrider5 what's that?
btw idm if they use some wildcards for women (keyword here is 'some'). but they actually have to be good competitors.
i cannot see any strong women going out earlier than they would normally - for some reason they aren't prone to the same mistakes that the stronger guys make earlier. for example, we saw drew in anw6, that was tragic amiright? i can't imagine jessie going out in qualifying (not making vegas)

For the city qualifiers, I say if you can clear it, you get to move on to the city finals (even if that means more than 30 advance), and if there are fewer than 30 people after that, let in the best runners who didn't clear. For city finals, top 15 overall and top 2 women is fine by me, since that's all the wild card approach was doing anyway.

I prefer the current ANW Format. Seeing females doing well in some runs (Rebekah Bonilla and Michelle Warnky in City Finals). It also removes the wildcards.
