ANW Kunoichi would be ANW with basically a nerfed Stages 2 and 3 and possibly a shorter rope climb. No qualifier episodes, just the pool of existing women ninjas. Thoughts? I personally would appreciate this for the fact that women have become such a huge staple of ANW it's become something as well as the fluff pieces that take away from the true objective of the show. An all female show would minimize that, as it wouldn't be "first woman!" Or, at this point, "14th woman!". Just my 2 cents

They can do that as an ANW special during the "offseason".

Would some people dislike it since they like women versing men in the same category? (even though they have that qualifier rules anyway)?

ANW needn’t Kunoichi. They are good enough now.

I've always wanted a special that's all women but I don't think "nerfed" stages are a good idea for ANW's context. In Sasuke, who has never focused on women (and Kunoichi required different skillsets) you can understand adjusting obstacles because it's clear they don't consider women in their obstacle testing. ATS does and even then, they like OP'ing qualifying and there's always a region or two where the women placed there get unlucky and get an obstacle that wipes them all out, which makes it annoying when people get so surprised to see it.
But I think having a completely different course to the point it seems nerfed (I wouldn't do ANW 9's Stage 2 for anyone, tbh, so change that all you want) the criticism from that would make the special irrelevant. That, and the irrational people who think an all-women special would somehow give male competitors the short stick.

I would like to point out that I wouldn't want it to be a special. I would want this to be a show. Give them the same amount of spotlight on a different course.

IMO, this would be a terrible idea and would go against the show's message for the past 4+ seasons. ANW likes to advertise itself as a show that includes all, inspires people and breaks down barriers, and that, coupled with the fact that the female competitors have been getting stronger and larger in number like clockwork in that time, would make a female special, and especially a nerfed course, completely redundant.
The women of ANW have shown time and again they can compete to a high standard, including on the same field as men. At this point, giving them a separate special and course would be nothing short of patronising.

The fact that ANW HAS a message is what people ultimately complain about, whether they realize it or not. The whole focus of just about every Sasuke/ANW show and spinoff focuses on beating all 4 stages. ANW has done LESS of that ever since Kacy beat the city finals. The only time people focus on who's gonna win is stage 3, cuz no women make it there, and I think the only reason the focus was slightly on who won in ANW7 was because both Geoff and Isaac made Stage 4.
So why not go back to the main focus of Kanzenseiha by giving the women their own show? They're not close to beating it, and that's the truth. Give them a Stage 2 that's not stupid like ANW9 (and I can say the same for the men to an extent), and make a Stage 3 that's not gonna KILL the women (because they're strong, but if Jessie can't even do the UCCH transfer, people are in trouble).
This puts the focus on both the men and women without one taking attention from another. Women would put up better results on a tough yet still doable course. I think it would work.

But I think it's far too late for that to be viable. The female athletes have worked hard to secure and grow their presence in ANW, and are responsible for a huge chunk of that show's ratings, marketing and social media presence to boot. Who cares if they "can't win"? Last I checked, the same was true for about 90% of the men on the show these days too. As the show is now, men and women get the attention they deserve, with neither overshadowing the other. That just goes back to my original point of the women getting better every year. They don't need a watered down course to "put up better results". They're doing that every year anyway.

Regardless if it's a good idea or not, a USA version of Kunoichi would see a lot of complaints from the overly PC crowd claiming sexism. Personally, I wouldn't mind seeing a 100 woman 4 stage course. Last season showed that even though there are some strong female ninjas, there wasn't enough to even fill out an impressive top 5 for each regional. (Last year, two of the regional top 5s featured a woman who only cleared 1 obstacle) An American Kunoichi could help more female ninjas improve and probably encourage more women to compete.

Having a special with the top 100 ranked women taking on the finals course, could be do able with out a lot of criticism. But yeah go back to season 8 stage 2. WTH was season 9s.
