So, the body prop has returned officially, with a wall that moves in and out and relying on spheres instead of clear panels.
Personally, I REALLY like the obstacle. It's tough enough for stage 3, but still gives you that nostalgic feel of how the body prop was troubling for many contestants.
I see it returning for the next tournament, and I don't see it changing either.

It definitely won't change, that's an investment in another motor, so expect it to stick for a long time!
I do like the obstacle, it's as tough as the OG body prop and takes the focus off arm-centric obstacles in the Third Stage.
Perhaps a little biased towards tall competitors (Drew breezed it while Morimoto looked to really struggle), but a fun addition nevertheless.

I found it interesting that competitors were using the slanted section at the top of the "foot wall" as that seems like it would be more difficult. In any event, I'm a huge fan of this obstacle. In the future I could see them adding a gap or other obstacle in the "foot wall" or perhaps removing a "planet" and spacing them out more.

I personally think Drew's ease comes down to him having been on a Body Prop multiple times in recent competitions.
May be wrong though.

A bit biased I agree, but many obstacles are hard on talk guys (and the general fact that they’ll be heavier).

I agree, it didn't seem to be much of a height thing to me, but rather Drew is better at these kinds of all-around athleticism obstacles. He always blows through the first half of Stage 3 like he's on a mission.

Loved the obstacle – what a breath of fresh air in an otherwise upper body fest of a Third Stage. Keep it!
