Things of note: Everyone you'd expect is there, with the exception of Jessie who is probably busy with something else.
From the wrestling side of things Ibushi isn't back but current IWGP Jr Heavyweight Tag Team Champions Roppongi 3K are competing.
And for those who remember older memes, evidently Hard Gay is still semi-relevant of a comedian if he's competing lol

#2 is Akira 100%, a comedian who won last year's R-1 Grand Prix which is a solo comedian competition. His act is that he's completely naked sans a single metal tray that he uses to conceal his crotch. If you're so inclined to check him out, he's got clips on YouTube, I won't post here because rules.

Read this originally thinking you were saying Omori Akira was back "100%" and that the man formally known as "the monkey"'s new gag was that. Both disappointed and slightly relieved at the same time

Honestly I didn't expect him with the surprise KuroOvi appearance, figured that might have burned some bridges with Inui lol

Yeeeeeeeeesh I'm shocked to see Ryo, Hitoshi, and Shingo sink so fast in numbers... At least Hioki is finally out of the 40's this time...

NJPW is on a short break before their join ROH card so Sho and Yoh have free time. Tsukasa Fujimoto is a joshi wrestler from Ice Ribbon. She's long been their ace but has been doing freelance for a while. She had a really good tag team with Arisa Nakajima as the Best Friends.
There is another American on the list, Pete Forbes, but he's a Navy pilot who is more than likely stationed in Japan.
There doesn't seem to be a dedicated female group this time around. There are a bunch of former athletes in the 80s.
Your final ten: 90. Takeru 91. Toshihiro Takeda 92. Shunsuke Nagasaki 93. Kenji Takahashi 94. Yusuke Suzuki 95. Yuuji Urushihara 96. Kenji Darvish 97. Jun Sato 98. Drew Dreschel 99. Tomohiro Kawaguchi 100. Yusuke Morimoto

Ryo is so low compared to all the other big players I literally couldn't find him at first.

Glad Minami Ono and Shogo Ugajin are back. I love those two after SASUKE 34.
I didn't see Dai Igarashi though, that really sucks for me personally.

I know they tend to have a handful of athletes in the show, but I wonder if Takeru's success had garnered as many as there are this tournament. Mori also took a drop after his Quad Steps fail, bumped down from 90 to 71.

Aside from that, it's great to see Kanno back, it does seem logical that he, Ryo, and Shingo are dropping numbers since they're seriously struggling. But either way, I hope there can be a swan song for Kanno's redemption!

This line-up is not heavy on the talent. If you dropped all the former athletes or spread them out, Shingo and co would be closer to the 80s so it's not so bad.
Also, Tada is back at 68!

They love him too much. Also he got to the Reverse Conveyor, the same as Yuuji.
