This is cool man, thanks for doing this. I've been left wondering about what's going on in Vietnam for a long time now XD.

This is gonna be a tricky one because I don't speak or read Vietnamese but SPOILERS FOR THE DECEMBER 15 EPISODE!!! 7 competitors competed on stage 2, and 6 completed. Notable foreigners included David Campbell, Greg Schwartz, and Fred Dorrington, who all cleared. Nguyen Duc Tho had the fastest time.
The end of the episode teased Stage 3 being home to this season's International competition. I don't know the air date because I can't understand Vietnamese and Google Translate confuses me, but there are 4 teams. The 2 biggest names I saw were Kawaguchi Tomohiro and Perry Oosterlee. Confirmed obstacles on Stage 3 include the Spider Flip, Crazy Cliffhanger, Floating Boards, Pole Maze, and Hang Climb/Ascending Climb.

As stated above, the December 22 episode was the International Competition. There were 2 Vietnam teams, a team Japan, and an International Mix team. The following post contains spoilers. You've been warned. Vietnam Team 1: Ngyuen Doan Tho, Do Van Quang, Ngyuen Van Hieu
Vietnam Team 2: Dao Dinh Manh, Tran Minh Khuong, Nguyen Van Vu
Team Japan: Kawaguchi Tomohiro, Taharu Nakagawa, Aguri Ueda
Team International: Perry Oosterlee, Mat Redho, Wang Jung An
Format:
2 teams would do relays on Stage 3 (Pole Maze, Floating Boards, Pole Grasper, Ascending Climb, Spider Flip, Crazy Cliffhanger, Flying Bar). The faster teams in each matchup advanced to the final: A Stage 4 climb-off. The fastest time on Stage 4 determines the winner. If a competitor fails an obstacle on Stage 3, the next teammate must retry the ENTIRE SECTION OF STAGE 3 his previous teammate failed on.
Results:
Heat 1 was Vietnam 1 vs. Team Japan. Team Vietnam won because Team Japan failed on the first leg of the stage twice, leaving Tomo to solo the entire 3rd stage until he failed the Spider Flip.
Heat 2 was Vietnam 2 vs. Team International. Team Vietnam 2 won because somehow ALL 3 MEMBERS OF TEAM INTERNATIONAL failed the Crazy Cliffhanger jump. It was pretty crazy.
Anyways, Vietnam vs. Vietnam in Stage 4. Team 1 chose Nguyen Doan Tho to climb for them. He timed out with about 10 feet left from the buzzer. Team 2 chose Dao Dinh Manh, who FLEW up Stage 4 and finished with 9 seconds left, making Vietnam Team 2 the winner!!!
Next week's episode kicks off Stage 3. I'm not sure if that's gonna be the end of the season (they've been titling it "Sasuke Vietnam 2018" all season) but Stage 3 starts next week. Could be the finale, but I don't know for sure.

Sooooo the December 29 season didn't get posted on YouTube, so I'm not sure if people just didn't stream it or if it didn't air.

Just finished, so here's my weekly update if nobody wants to watch. Nobody beat Stage 3. There were roughly 9-10 competitors this episode, and only 1 beat the Hang Climb. He failed the Crazy Cliffhanger jump. There IS an episode next week (which is weird cuz Sasuke Vietnam 2018 would then be in 2019) so the season's not over just yet!

Latest episode is up: For the 2nd time ever in the world of Sasuke (not Kunochi), a female is in the 3rd stage.
However though, I think there may be about 30 competitors heading into stage 3. It's still not over yet, and just like the last episode, only one competitor passed the hang climb and failed the crazy cliffhanger.

If you watched Sasuke Vietnam stage 1 you can see all women fail on stage 1. Some are selected to do a fun run on stage 2. The best performance out of that gets to do a fun run on stage 3. Just for entertaining and ratings sake.

Sasuke Vietnam Season 4 January 12
Season finale is up! Lots of star power, and I have LOTS of opinions. Nobody beats Stage 3. That's okay, since a lot of tournaments are like that. However, I had a few gripes this season.
They played this really intense music right before every time someone failed an obstacle, so you KNEW when someone was falling. It was much like how the POM Run of the Night kind of spoiled the results of the rest of the night.
The same results were pretty consistent throughout the competition. In Stage 1, if you didn't fail the Pendulum, you basically had a clear on lock. Stage 2, you clear the Salmon Ladder, you're all set. Stage 3, you're gonna fail the Hang Climb. Simple as that.
The rules on DQs are bad. The Floating Boards rule needs to not exist. It has now taken out Perry Oosterlee in Vietnam and Josh Levin in Indonesia. It's a dumb rule considering the Floating Boards are a tough obstacle. People can fail on it, and if not, it's a good strength drainer.
Stage 2 needs a time limit. Separate the men from the boys earlier on so Stage 3 is consisting of the people with potential to beat it.
Lastly, the Crazy Cliffhanger. I don't know if I'm the only one who noticed, but the ledge you're supposed to jump to is significantly shorter than the ledge you jump off of. Add that with the drop DOWN to the ledge and it's just an obstacle guaranteeing you fail after completing the 5 obstacles prior.
Overall I thought this season was entertaining at times, and then boring at times. I think with some changes season 5 could be really good.

Here's another link: I was really stunned by David "The Godfather" Campbell falling down on the hang climb, but surprisingly during the interview he said that he wasn't feeling very well before the day of Stage 3. He'll be back next season fortunately.
