Besides, the course testers can do it, hence why it is in the course, if they couldn't do it, it would not be in the course. That's not necessarily true. Plenty of times they threw something on there.. no tester could do it and made them run anyway. There are too many examples for me to mention of that happening in Sasuke's 20 year history.

Well I managed to submit an application on the website. I wonder if they have someone who will read applications sent in english. Although I did get a page which said my application was sent, I was wondering if theres any automated email they send which confirms that the application was received?
Hopefully my answers were interesting enough, too. I tried to keep them short, specific and easy to translate. And I did answer like two of them with the little Japanese I know. Ah well, I guess I'm worrying over something which has such a small chance of happening. So fingers crossed but not getting my hopes up.

No it isn't customary to send receipt of applications sent. The only thing you will hear is if you are selected to try out. That won't happen until a week before the tryouts in Japan.

Do you know what the second question on the application form means?

Sorry to reply so late. Although I think the application period may have ended before you asked. I didn't save the application but I did save my answers to the questions so I can apply again next time.
The 2nd Question on the entire application was asking for your name in kanji or kana, iirc. The 2nd written question was about your sports background.

No problem, I wasn't going to apply or anything since I would not be able to get to Japan but there is no harm in looking at the questions they ask you in case I am able to go there in the future. OK, thanks.

Fun fact: SASUKE 35 got more applications than SASUKE 34.

SASUKE twitter said over 3000 applications, how many was it in SASUKE 34? They said 'nearly 3000 applications' or something like that.

Could you give at least one or two examples, though? I don't doubt that it's happened, but I would be curious to know how the competitors handled the obstacle even though the testers couldn't pass it.

SASUKE 25 Ultimate cliffhanger no one could do it at all!

Inui teased testing of a new obstacle: Exciting! I wonder if it’s entirely new or another ANW collaboration a la Double Pendulum.
