I was just thinking, how cool would it be for the US to have it’s own Unbeatable Banzuke? We took Sasuke and made ANW. Now what if we went back farther and made a version of Banzuke.
It could even only be like 10 episodes, with 4 challenges each episode.
What challenges would you like to see? I like the unicycle, hand walk, bamboo derby, etc. Didn’t care much for the Duma (I think that’s what it was called, the mallet tower thing). I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot but it was really cool and I think the bite-sized courses would work.

As awesome as that sounds, I don't think that will ever happen. ANW is a powerhouse name, and if they want their Unbeatable Banzuke to be as popular, they'd have to partner it with ANW or label it as a spinoff, and even then I wouldn't trust it completely. They'd probably get rid of lots of events (probably banzai 90, daruma 7, and seesaw 60) and just keep all the stuff similar to ANW or the stuff that gives off an ANW vibe (hand walk, sponge bridge, etc.). As for the vehicle obstacle courses (unicycle, bamboo derby, bikes, skateboards, etc.), I feel like those would come in later seasons, which would be a mistake imo. All in all, it would be good if executed correctly, but many who didn't watch the original would call it a wannabe if it wasn't done justice.

I’m sure I’m forgetting a lot but it was really cool and I think the bite-sized courses would work. So a few things here: 1st off, Unbeatable Banzuke was already insanely heavily edited. The original show wasn't that crazy, in fact 2-3 of the 4 events each episode were sports. Soccer and baseball were nearly every episode and the crazy stuff was few and far between. This was edited out because the US only wanted stuff that was 'crazy like Japanese gameshow'. Banzuke crunched 100s of episodes of footage down to make their 65 half hour episodes. Next off, Banzuke took significantly more resources than Sasuke, as it required way more competitors, many events were travelled locally around Japan, and they very frequently flew competitors in to Japan. Due to this, episodes the budget was huge in order to keep the show running year round. It would probably take all year for the US to make the one season if they only wanted weird events, and they'd like cheap out and re-use events in almost all episodes.

In terms of their being 'few events'. Unbeatable Banzuke only had 10% of the events the original had. They might actually have more luck if they also focused on the sports side and got US pro athletes in.
