So 135 seconds is what you get for the 1st stage. They've bumped it up by 7 seconds it seems.

In the video it actually said 1'35" But I think they were doing testing with the timer system and I don't think they'd be evil enough to do 95 seconds. Also Inui said the time limit would be shorter than 33 so I'm thinking 120 is going to be the time limit.

Could be anything. They might had just been testing times with YouTubers and that's why we saw him use 115, only to see them change to 135 after. Or maybe they only edited that in post because 115 is the official time.

{Spoiler on people to watch page} From the picture it looks like yuuji beats the rolling hill Could also be him from 32. Also, I wouldn't look too much into Drew not being on the competitors to watch page. As I recall, he wasn't on there last year either.

Drew has always been on the competitors page I believe.

I'm surprised this hasn't been posted yet, but once again for this tournament we have a "notable people to watch during the broadcast" page on the official TBS website. It's almost like a Navi for the Navi. www.tbs.co.jp/sasuke_rising/player/pickup.htmlIf the translation I'm reading is correct, Yuuji claimed on the day of the tournament that he will retire if he fails the First Stage once again. Anyone able to confirm/debunk this? Wait, Drew Drechsel is not a notable person to watch during SASUKE 34 . I think I need to change my prediction now . Then again, I think I do recalled that drew hasn't been the "guy to watch for" for a few tournaments and looked how that turned out.

Remember that Kacy had higher billing by TBS in 32 even with Drew and Brent there. TBH it's nothing new - I'd be surprised if they did bill him higher. Remember this is Jessie's debut and she comes with her own fanbase outside of ANW (which is how they bank on these things).

So we're a little over 4 full days until showtime with no trailer. Are they just desperate to save money on commercials and/or they don't want an ad for the show to fizzle out over time 1-2 weeks before airdate? Last 2 tournaments they even had those neat 360 videos on the official website at this point. M9 would have commercials out weeks before airdate lmfao. Are Inui and his TV goons just on a level of advertisement strategy that the likes of myself could never comprehend?

He might have just added the 115 from an old broadcast in, it looks that way.
95 would be perfect for this stage I swear. The top guys are very much capable of it.

Nobody got more than 30seconds left on the clock in 33 with a 128 TL, and yeah, guys like Sato and Drew probably *could*, but then what's the point of S2 if speed is killing everyone in S1? Not that S2 has to be a speed stage, but it should at least have some celebs, rookies, and most importantly slower vets who crush in other physical realms.

The 115 is definitely from an older broadcast. He used the timer from Nagano's video in 32.

115 seconds to me is just an evil reminder of Sasuke 19 in regards to difficulty. Makes me wonder if that's actually what the timer will be.

Yup, it definitely says that he said he was going to retire if he failed. {Spoiler}So has he been uploading Sasuke training YouTube videos lately because he got through Stage 1, is trying to increase the ratings for 34, or this is old footage and he wants to get it all uploaded before his last tournament?

Yuuji's been doing more training videos as a direct response to his recent course struggles. They've been going on for a few months. He didn't make the retirement vow until the day of taping.

Judging by the translation in this tweet the ad should air in a matter of hours.
