11 PM?! What were they thinking? Surely that has to completely cancel-out any benefit the wrestling lead-in gives them? Ending at 11 is already too late, never mind starting at it!

Is the guy next to Daniel Gil I saw in the preview the one who ran in College Madness? (can neither remember name nor school, but I think something in Texas (duh, if he runs with Daniel))
If that's him, I predict that he'll shock some veterans and viewers...

It's entirely possible they're just letting the show finish its run so the fans can watch the rest of the series. It's also possible that the show will still get better ratings on Mondays @ 11 than it was on Thursdays @ 9. Also, here's my video talking about episode 6.

It's good to see Thaddeus Robeck on the course. The length of his social media handle gave me a chuckle. Attachment DeletedKyle From Beastmaster (that's what I'm calling him now) is insanely fast. Gil is definitely MVP. The way he blocked Kyle after getting cutoff, going around, and managing to swing off the ring at the same time as Kyle. Then hitting the trampoline into the first shelf in such a way to immediately jump to the second shelf without swinging back, something we would see Kyle and Mathis do in the final relay. Keeping a lead over Kyle to take the win and force a relay. Then keeping a lead in the back of the course for the final two relays. If The Lizard Kings didn't self-destruct in the first relay, they probably could have won. Going into the final relay, they probably could have won if they didn't have the penalty. Weird thing toward the end - Kyle made up enough time to hit the button just over 1 second after Mathis (I counted the frames between 1.13 to 1.2 seconds). However, Gerard didn't move until nearly 3 seconds later. Gerard ended up finishing roughly 2 seconds behind Gil. Even with the penalty, it's possible Gerard could have made up enough time for the two of them to finish within tenths or hundredths of each other.

One unfortunate negative (that's not the fault of production) of this season is that of the 7 teams who qualified for the playoffs so far, 6 of them are teams who had qualified for the finals at least once in the past. As of right now, the Young Bloods are the only team who won their episode for the first time.

Episode on 4/9/18 - Cable top 100 originals21st place in demo - 0.31 rating with 759,000 viewers. A little bit of a mark up but not an appreciable difference. Will be interested to see what next week looks like. How many weeks of this are left?

It looks like part of the reason for the switch to Monday’s is because playoff hockey is starting up this week, and NvN got bumped for that....playoff hockey is even more unpredictable than RAW

The numbers only track the demo (which is the mid-range males). The chart shows the full list and showed the shift in viewers by demographic. Younger females are watching more on the new time-slot and a lot more older people in general are watching. Overall the numbers are higher (as this is the highest of the season so far) but it's best to see the shift by comparing last year's numbers roughly around the same time. The time change is significant since generally younger viewers are not being counted overall since they are not the "demo" and that was one of the biggest complaints of waiting too long to show the episode (past their bedtime). We'll see if the time change will stay in the long-run since the season is still going. I'm curious though if they will keep this going for next season or if they will change things up. The numbers are still strong but not sure if they consider this season a failure given it's already changed days and full time frame. That's usually a signal that a network has lost confidence in the show (when comparing other shows that have done the same thing). If they think they are over-saturating and they haven't met their target viewers they may just scrap the show entirely. So far they are not confident to put this in Prime Time and that's an important distinction on how they view the show.

What a difference in the Flying Monkey Bars when there are only 2 bars instead of 4.

Edit: Just seen the episode, sorry. I can't believe they actually changed something up a bit like that! Anyway, please disregard this post. What a difference in the Flying Monkey Bars when there are only 2 bars instead of 4. A very big difference as they're not considered the same obstacle at all! The regular season has the two-bar Floating Monkey Bars and this has the four-bar Flying Monkey Bars. In my opinion, they should've switched those names around anyway as the ANW City Finals version is far more "flying" than the Team version. Although I guess they had no idea they'd have a variation of it three years later that would need to have a different name!

There were three matchups for tonight's Wildcards. Winning your match meant moving straight to Playoffs.

There were three matchups for tonight's Wildcards. Winning your match meant moving straight to Playoffs. Next week another six teams pair off. Bringing the total in the playoffs to 15. Where does team 16 come from? While this is a quick way to get through the wildcards, I was disappointed about not seeing the back end of the course.
EDIT:
Question answered on ANW Nation.
Next Week:
On May 7, we’ll see the last half of the wildcard round. This time, eight teams will look to revive their chances at the trophy. •Beasts from the East •Big Dog Ninjas •Hashtag Ninjas •Hazard Brigade •Team Wolfpack •The Ballers •Three Wishes •Wisco Warriors
