Update on Invest 90L:
1. Showers and thunderstorms associated with an area of low pressure located over the southwestern Caribbean Sea have become better organized since yesterday. This system is expected to become a tropical depression later today while it moves northwestward toward the coast of Nicaragua. The low should move slowly northwestward across or near the eastern portions of Nicaragua and Honduras on Thursday, move into the northwestern Caribbean Sea by Friday, and emerge over the southern Gulf of Mexico by Saturday. Interests in Nicaragua, Honduras, the Yucatan peninsula and western Cuba should monitor the progress of this system as watches or warnings could be issued later today. An Air Force Reserve reconnaissance aircraft is scheduled to investigate the disturbance this afternoon. Regardless of development, this system will produce heavy rains over portions of Central America during the next few days, likely causing flash floods and mudslides. * Formation chance through 48 hours...high...90 percent. * Formation chance through 5 days...high...90 percent.

Is it possible you could just link the tweets or the website? The photos take up a lot of space and are a pain when I try to open this thread on my phone with the huge photos. I enjoy keeping up with it but could it be modified in a way to make it mobile friendly?

Thanks for the updates I got a call from my cousin Mari (whom I was crying about on video). I cried again since this is the first phone call (I got only 2 texts back to back that one day saying she was okay). It's painful listening to what they are going through there. I wish I could just get her on a plane and here. Living in 4rd world conditions with no running water, electricity and limited food supply for what is potentially months is crazy to imagine. I was happy to hear her voice though even if I cried through the whole thing. She had to drive 3 towns away just to get a signal and the phone call kept getting dropped because the signal was weak.

It's still good to hear that she is alive. I can't even imagine what they are going through. And I fear that another storm hits before the season ends, however thankful there is nothing of notice / concern right now. Please keep us updated! <3 Sidenote: waiting on the 2am adv before my next update.

I'm brainstorming ways to find relief while reconstruction of the island is going on.. dunno if it's feasible but I'm going to try with at least one of the families. It breaks my heart to hear any of them suffering. Having gone through a fraction of it when I was a kid it's unfathomable to know it was far far worse. I'm thankful some of my family is able to help with one of my aunts who's hoping to rebuild (depends on what FEMA will do and how long it will be until they actually rebuild totaled homes). The rest who just don't have family that can take them in on the US side is what is keeping me up at night. I'm keeping an eye on Nate so I appreciate you doing that part and love the new format as I can see more information that way as well! ♥ I'm quite versed on the advisories 2, 5, 8, 11, 2, 5, 8, 11...

My friends tell me Nate could affect Canada.
Probably not by much though, a lot of the east coast is a cliff.

Honestly not much chance, and if it does it will be so unnoticeable you'd think it was just a cloudy day. The tracking has the center pretty much going through the North East and coming out at Maine. And at that point it will be such a weak storm that a normal thunderstorm would be stronger than the impacts you get aha.
