hahahahaha Let's see him clear the course without a calculator next time. So please sum up wtf happened with his runs? He ran 3 times but they only showed his math fail run? So the current batch of runs we are seeing is day 1 of recording. I ran during day 2 of recording. When I got to set I was happy to hear that Isaac ran on day 1, meaning I wouldn't be seeing him. Lo and behold a few hours into recording and him and his posse roll up to set (in a shuttle provided to them that picked them up from their hotel, which was probably also provided to them). He's special so he was allowed to run again. Who knows, maybe he ran again on the 3rd day? Dunno because I wasn't there. But really I think they were just disappointed that he failed so they gave him another chance. Higuchi clearly wanted to milk him as much as possible, and he's also a total unabashed fan of Isaac's snapping photos with him at every opportunity. So he got a second run on day 2. However, the final obstacle was not reset properly. Granted that obstacle is still passable in about 14 other ways and Isaac should've been able to clear it regardless. He got there and he just stopped and pointed at the mistake and Higuchi was mortified. So they gave him a 3rd run later in the day after he had plenty of time to rest, and he finally passed on his 3rd attempt and also got the fastest time (because he's been on this thing 3 times at this point, of course he's going to blitz through it). It was really annoying, slowed the production down to a halt which was annoying because the free shuttles weren't in service until everyone finished their runs. After my run I was just waiting to leave. Anastase offered me a ride but I just met the guy and didn't want to take advantage of his generosity. Plus I had no idea how looooooooong I'd be there after my run. Basically, Isaac ruined everything. I'm assuming at least hist 3rd run will be shown once they get to the day 2 competitors. Dunno if they'll show his 2nd run because it's a mistake on their part and just kinda makes everyone involved look bad. Or maaaaaybe they'll just stick with showing his first run like they should, but I don't think Higuchi cares about that. I'm pretty sure he'll show Isaac as much as he possibly can.

Isaac Caldiero: The American Katsumi Yamada
They both had 3 reruns in a competition (Isaac Caldiero: KuroOvi) (Katsumi Yamada: SASUKE 12 Second Stage)
EDIT: I honestly like Yamada better since he didn't ditch his training partners like Caldiero did.

LOL You don't know Higuchi that well. This is most likely the actual run they show. Higuchi is GREAT for stroking egos and I'm positive all that stuff was to get him to post on social media so people saw he was going to be in it (and thus have his fanbase see the videos). I doubt he has any intention of showing a rerun when that is not part of the competition. Give him an inch and he will take a mile. No one is as opportunistic as Higuchi and I'm sure Isaac is outmatched in that department. AHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Make no mistake that Higuchi is smart, creative, innovative, etc. that goes with brilliant minds.. however.. he's also opportunistic, cunning and manipulative. Free advertising from a man who is a walking shrine to ego in Isaac. I think Higuchi played him and I'm loving every single minute of it.

I wonder who got first place then if it wasn't Isaac. Perhaps it was Ashton Eaton, who was shown to have a fast time in one of the commercials

Higuchi needs to find a person in Japan who speaks English fluently. These English titles are getting worse and worse.

So this just happened. On twitter I told KuroOvi their English title on the latest video was terrible. Then they changed the title to something that makes sense grammatically. The original title was "Is it the fastest time!?Nova of Tohoku has coming!"

Higuchi needs to find a person in Japan who speaks English fluently. These English titles are getting worse and worse. I think the phrase you need is NATIVE English speaker. They have plenty that speak English but as a second language. Sometimes I believe they try to do puns that originate in Japanese but doesn't quite translate to English.. then again.. they also love cheesy stuff that we find incredibly stupid so that's half the problem.

Besides the fact it would actually be such a bad idea, I am still eagerly awaiting the moment when someone actually attempts to use the bicycle.

Don't. That'd ruin the irony that Isaac hyped up a run where he did poorly.
He doesn't need any credit for anything other than his first run.

so how many episodes are there? Today was episode 19, they are at about #60. There are 301 competitors. 19x5 = 95. There will be probably 90-100 episodes

I think the Twister is my favorite obstacle. They way people fail that obstacle is just so satisfying.
