The Backstream will never die. The flying bar might go bye bye though.

If Inui goes, the show dies. TBS didn't bring in someone new after Monster9 went bankrupt, they went back to the original director of the show. Like I said before, you can destroy the course with a crater and the Backstream will find a way to survive.

I can imagine Takeda getting a higher number than last time so... 93? or 94? For Shingo, he's either just before Takeda or a few spots lower than him so either 90 or the number before Takeda. If Drew is even REMOTELY there he's 99. No questions asked. Yusuke of course takes 100. Also with how Kanno's been acting I think he'll be there... maybe 89.

I think foreigners will be banned sadly I could see the Backstream being modified, but never removed haha. The Ring Slider may have a second set of disks added and the Drum Hopper will likely be replaced. I think someone will reach the Pipe Slider but lose their grip near the beginning.

I think I may be the only one really hoping for Lee En-Chih to return... at least being Liao Long Zhun if no one else...

Drechsel will be the best competitor again. That's a given already I think, even though I'm not a person that likes predicting stuff yet to happen

I think the last man standing could be Drew Drechsel, Yusuke Morimoto, or Tomohiro Kawaguchi

Probably a nerfed tackle, remove the support wire on flying bar (almost made it 100% fail rate).
Number wise, Yusuke will be 100, Drew is 99. Asa should get 98, Tomo should drop down to 97. Takeda might get a number highe, but unlikely to get 96 (its possible, but its unlikely). And considering how healthy Kanno is, I'm not sure if we're going to see a run from him for this tournament.

Does anyone know what the status of Kanno's recovery is? Did he get surgery, and when? That is such a brutal injury. I've heard recovery time (if you recover) is at least 9 months, sometimes up to 18 months.

So we know he can def lift weights.

I think Hitoshi Kanno should take 2 tournament off. He needs more time to be 100% back else everything can be worse. If he read this, then please stay at home for goodness reasons.

I'm hoping that Yuuji makes a nice comeback in 34, i.e. that he at least makes it to Stage 3. He's been uploading videos to his YouTube channel lately, so that might be some indication that his motivation to compete and do well has returned.

Yep I hope he will do good since he is one of my favorites despite recent tournaments. I also see a comeback from Ryo Matachi

He's looking really motivated in his videos. Would be great to see him take on Stage 3.
