Just finished watching, for me, this was superior to 9 in every respect, having 3 stages was a nice surprise (I thought they would just re-use the previous course), and yay, far less boob-cam this time, really enjoyed it

Ratings wise, this tournament didn't deliver. But quality wise,I'd say it's the best Kunoichi ever.

I think it was better than 9.
I was glad they made the time limit less. Disappointed to see the breast log back. Its stupid just use the Sasuke 1/2 version instead. I would have prefered they had just taken offthe slider walk and lowered the time to 50 sec. It was frustrating to watch LOL.
LOVED stage 3. I am happy to see the course start to require more all around skill and strainth. Seeing these older sasuke obstacles was nice, it was like a walk down memory lane.
Over all I think we are going to see the women getting stronger and stronger until they are on par with sasuke.

I also enjoyed 10 more than 9, though that 1.5/2 point rating slip is concerning. Probably aired this one far to close to 9?
The larger amount of strength obstacles/SASUKE classics really helped the course feel more exciting, without making it ridiculously OP. Also less boob cam = nice.
The graphics are still 10/10 on point, especially those stage intro ones, and the generally polished look of the course is just really nice.
My only complaint would be that they still aren't really giving very many of the competitors much of a spotlight, the only one with a noticeable theme was No. 50 (and I went mad trying to work out who had it in SASUKE, it's Jun's from 33).

I actually did like this tournament better than 9. Especially enjoyed the new format of the stages, even if continuous fails on the Fishbone and Double Pendulum did get repetitive after a while. Not to mention they were able to show the full runs of all 6 clears. See, it wasn't that hard, 9. Izumi is incredible, that jump over the stoppers was super impressive. She's the new star of the show. The pipe slider is too difficult. They need to tone down the jump at the end if they want to have any chance of seeing another final stage attempt soon. I was having flashbacks to the NNL finals there. And, of course, the after-effects are still great, especially RETIRE! You would think Yamada would take the hint.

Do you guys think that, with the ratings being what they were, that Kunoichi 11 is going to happen or no? After this tournament, I would love to see more.

It depends on what TBS was aiming for. Ratings all around have been declining for all stations as younger people either opt to do things online or not watch TV at all. KUNOICHI was still the 2nd highest sports program for its week. A Taiikukai TV (the spiritual successor to Kinniku Banzuke in the way Danshi is to Sportsnman) special the previous Saturday only got an 8.3 and that is usually packed with celebs. NHK had some of the highest rated programming for that day but NHK is a government entity that isn't competing for sponsor dollars so it really doesn't count. There was also an election going on that day. NTV's Sunday block has been crushing competition since the beginning of the year. Whatever TBS has been putting up on Sundays hasn't been doing all that well anyway so really, the rating is not a big deal. One thing that will affect the show going forward is the availability of Hikari Izumi and to a lesser extent AYA and Kana Watanabe. But Hikari is the obvious focus and I think she's still studying in the US (she was anyway, I don't know if she'll be going back).

Here is the link. This is the lowest rating after KUNOICHI 9. Srsly hope that the show is not going to be cancelled because of that. Btw, does anyone knows what are the "points" (分数) for which is right beside on the airing time? www.videor.co.jp/tvrating/2017/07/2307.html

Srsly Inui, if he wants to let Kunoichi alive, burns the Pipe Hold please. Breast shots made the show somewhere like PG. While this show is supposed to be E. Just say that Now I’m gonna cry in a corner again...

Is it bad that the biggest takeaway I had from this is that there's a Banzuke spiritual successor that we didn't know about? Is there anywhere we can watch this Taiikukai TV?

While this season of Kunoichi is far better than the last one, those two new split Stages 2 and 3 are kinda challenging for the women. But for the pipe slider, one has got to swing forward with greater momentum but the hard part is not moving that pipe backwards.

Failing the pipe slider on the first go is nearly obligatory for every competitor, never mind their gender. Nagano, Shingo, Takeda and Morimoto have all done it, and those are just the first who spring to mind. Indeed, the only competitor I can think of who made that jump on their first try is Akiyama. Takeda never made it, and he tried at least 2 or 3 times. The technique is just straight-up difficult, and yet Izumi got within touching distance, which is pretty solid for a first attempt.

(Though Bunpei failed his next two attempts)

(Though Bunpei failed his next two attempts) For Shingo's case he was also the first to even attempt it so he was the honorary guinea pig of a classic obstacle. He would do this again in 5 since the platform kept changing. Izumi did very good on her first go at it.

Does anyone have a good idea of whether or not that pipe slider was more or less slick than the ones we have seen in the past on Sasuke? From where I was sitting it seemed like the pipe on this one was particularly resistant to staying at the end of the track.
If I remember correctly people have made versions that are more or less impossible by greasing the track (muscle park chitose, that Sasuke fan event that one time, etc).

Seems like the same as Sasuke just there was lack of technique to control the bar

You'd think the Pipe Hold would boost the ratings but NOPE

I thought I'd give my two cents on the tournament. It was too recycled from SASUKE for my tastes (I think my problem with that is that almost all of the obstacles are watered down from their SASUKE counterparts, I see why but I still don't care for it). The Red Stage was an eyesore. Pipe Hold again (it's a pathetic, sexist and overall ugly looking obstacle). The Blue Stage having a time limit was better, but the Slide Walk and watered down Wall Lift ruined it for me. The Black Stage was a nice idea, but it consisted of too many obstacles I personally don't care for. The only good obstacle there IMO was the Pipe Slider, everything else just bored the hell out of me.
So, disagree with me if you will, but I honestly didn't like this one.
