There are only four competitors who competed every season. There have been many prolific people who no longer compete. I was thinking make a list of some of those who no longer compete. Some on the list have felt that the show has become too much reality tv, some the producers haven't invited back, some had there jobs prevent it, and some there is no known reason. Some made it far and some were frequently highlighted in the past. People who come to mind: Levi Meeuwenberg Brian Orosco Travis Furlanic Shane Daniels Evan Dollard Dustin Rocho Jake Smith Andrew Karsen Kevin Antoine Derek Nakamota Elet Hall Travis Weinard Kyle Cochran Bull Bullard Idoko Abuh Josh Cook Casey Finley Isaac Caldiero Brandon Douglass Rob Moravsky Preston Griffall Geoff Britten Jeremiah Morgan Dustin McKinney Paul Kasemir

Jeremiah Morgan was back this season in Kansas City. He didn't compete last year because filming was on Sunday and it was against his beliefs.

Here's all of the ones that I know
Levi Meeuwenberg - Retired to Michigan to become a farmer Brian Orosco - Became a CrossFitter Travis Furlanic - Got DQ'd from ANW4 for a past DUI, hasn't been allowed back Shane Daniels - ? Evan Dollard - Presumably focusing on his TV career Dustin Rocho - ? Jake Smith - Still doing parkour in Colorado Andrew Karsen - Trains with Philip, no clue why he hasn't been back Kevin Antoine - Still applies. He's stated here that he might apply to Beastmaster. Derek Nakamoto - ? Elet Hall - Quit Ninja Warrior due to the public nature Travis Weinand - ? Kyle Cochran - ? Bull Bullard - ? Idoko Abuh - ? Josh Cook - Still does NNL Casey Finley - No one has any idea. I've asked several ninjas and they say he still applies but even they know why he didn't get called for ANW6. Isaac Caldiero - Said he wouldn't be back unless they let him skip regionals and go straight to Vegas, they said no, he abandoned all his friends. Brandon Douglass - Still doing parkour competitions and most recently surfaced on Ultimate Beastmaster Rob Moravsky - Did poorly in ANW8 which probably prevented his return Preston Griffall - who? Geoff Britten - Quit due to the reality aspect of the show, currently works on ATS (production team) Jeremiah Morgan - Probably something conflicted with his warped view of Christianity Dustin McKinney - Maybe he's stationed somewhere? Paul Kasemir - Didn't apply to ANW8 due to a 6-month honeymoon, no idea if he applied this season or not

I think he mentioned on here that he was focused more on family and stopped competing for that reason

I enjoyed Yen Chen (ANW 4-6?) and he was still active here on SMF when I first joined. Wonder what happened to him? His Twitter seems abandoned.

Dustin Rocho lives in my town. He has applied and hasn't gotten called. And Paul applied to ANW8 and ANW9. No calls. Not a big enough "personality" for NBC sadly.

He's banned from ANW, and Universal Studios. During the Orlando tapings he was a spectator, not sure the exact incident (or if it was just a normal ticket thing) but at some point he was asked to leave, after he left he jumped the fence to the park and into the ANW area, got caught, banned from competing, testing and also in his case spectating, as well as banned from Universal Studios Orlando (I don't know if he's banned from all Universal Studios parks however, he is banned from Orlando). So uhhhm yeah...

Ones I can answer
Andrew Karsen: still trains and I see him pretty often. He's better than he ever was on ANW. He does a lot of Crossfit too. As we've already established though, casting can suck at times lol. He made it to Stage 3 in this year's NNL finals.
Elet Hall: Is a parkour instructor in Istanbul, Turkey now. Pretty cool
Travis Weinand: Still trains, was on Team Ninja Warrior last season. Does crazy yoga stuff on Instagram
Idoko Abuh: I dunno but he liked one of my NW-related statuses on Facebook not too long ago if that's anything to go by lol. I assume he's still in the loop at least.
James Sclar: I saw him in Cali in March, he was there to meet Nagano. He has a family now so that's probably his priority.
JB Douglas: Was on Alan Connealy's team in TNW last year

Don't Forget about Mike Needham Dorian Cedars The guy who cleared Kansas City Finals (ANW 7) Andres De La Rosa Ryan Cousins Andres is banned from competing but he was at the Vegas taping this year so definitely not banned from watching. I think that was Brandon Couvreaux in Kansas City. Not sure if he still competes or not.

Well looks like I was wrong. Jermiah Morgan appears to be back, yet didnt complete a qualifier again this time around. He has to be the best ninja to never beat a qualifier. I wonder why he didn't compete last season.

Some of these I understand but dropping Paul Kasemir and Andrew Karsen is pure disrespect in my opinion, especially as they're by and large being replaced by people the audience will never see anyway, and there's plenty of room. The casting is the worst thing about this show.

I'm really curious as to what happened to Derek Nakamoto. That guy was awesome, he went out on Stage 1 in ANW 6 and I don't think he has returned. My cousin works at a smoothie store and he has told me Derek has walked in a few times so if ever that happens again he will ask him what's up
