My family gets them so many times every day. Luckily, it's the weekend, so we don't get them today or tomorrow. What do you guys do when you get these calls?

I get a lot saying "have you been misold PPI", "we think there is a fault with your computer" or "we think you've been in a car accident". I usually put it down or if feeling cheeky say "I haven't got a car/computer" and then they usually cut off straight away 😂 99.99% of the time it is a scan. NEVER give any personal details over ever!! Hope that helps

Yeah, I've been getting a ton of spam calls lately. Just ignore numbers you don't recognize.

Same with me though I barely answer the phone anyway.

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize -- if it's actually important, they'll leave a voicemail. I tend to look up numbers I don't recognize to remember in the future.

Rarely got a call... as we cut the traditional phone. And we only got spam messages from those unknown bastards. (Always sent a message like this: VINAPHONE chuc mung da nhan duoc LOC VANG! Soan DK gui 9286 de nhan ngay 60 TRIEU DONG chung cuoc, iPHONE 7 PLUS moi thang tu VINAPHONE khi CT Rinh Loc Vang quay thuong trung voi ma du thuong cua QK. MIEN PHI ngay dau, sau KM 5.000d/ngay. LH 19001237 (1.000d/p). Tu choi soan TC gui 9286.
They are pretending to be the cellular service! But the government and VinaPhone seems to be ignoring to this.

I don't answer numbers I don't recognize -- if it's actually important, they'll leave a voicemail. I tend to look up numbers I don't recognize to remember in the future. I do this almost exactly. I have priority mode set on my phone so only those in my contacts get through, all other numbers go silent ring (screen off, no sound, no vibrate) or straight to voicemail. If I happen to see the number that's calling but don't recognize it (ie: i'm on my phone at the time), I'll google the number to see if it's important or spam. If it seems legit, and important, I'll call back immediately, otherwise I'll wait for the voicemail and read the transcript.

I'll answer to be safe but usually either hang-up right away or make a joke at them depending on my mood (and if it's an actual person ). There's a new app that essentially lets you harass people which is stupid. They take some innocent persons number and use it to make pranks. Will eventually probably be the prime method for scamming people.

So apparently this thread is spam now... apparently it is "more in tune to random conversation"... how could that possibly be??? For the love of everything holy, it's asking a direct question.

If I don't know the number I let it go to voicemail. Simpler.

If I got any, either I didn't pick up out of laziness, or I couldn't even understand them when they were talking.
Obliviousness for the win! (or something like that)
