I thought I recognized Ernest Phillips from other reality shows.
Yikes. If Travis Furlanic couldn't get past ANW's background check in season 4, I can't imagine ANW ever letting Ernest Phillips on if he applies for the show. It would be too controversial.

Which is exactly what happened. He was accepted but that was overturned once they found out about some stuff in his past. It's a shame, really. He would have done really well and would have made for a great story, but rules are rules I guess.

I wonder how many people in the NNL scene know about this.

Well if it is true, although it is bad I met Ernest and can say he's a very nice guy in public and hope that everything is better now since I really don't want to see him differently due to this article.

Most people tend to act differently in public than they do in private.

Who’s going to the Movement Lab Ohio qualifier next week? I’ll be there, would be cool to see some SMFers there

Did anyone else see the 180 wingnut variation at Freedom? I’ve always thought that would be a cool move but thought it would be tougher than it was. People were killing it!

Fun day today, only 1 out of like 17 people cleared this insane Vertical Limit (Michael Torres), nobody made it to the last 4 obstacles streamable.com/kywytHere's mattskills 's run, he finished 6th overall in the end because he ran right in the middle, people started to realize it was a race to the VL. Also thatoneuser and I had some top notch commentary too

Meanwhile at the PPK Pinnacle Parkour Princeton NNL Qualifier (also held today), Jamie Rahn made a parkour heavy course with an extremely tight time limit. The final obstacle was a version of the Birdhouse Hanging peg holes but they were hanging spheres instead of blocks. No one was able to clear the course in time but afterwards Jamie proved that it was possible by showing that you need to go fast through the whole thing.
Also, the time limit was 2:22. Nice.
