Season 3 of the National Ninja League kicks off on July 9 at New York Ninjas. This season there will be one event each Saturday rather than multiple gyms per weekend and some weekends without events. The finals will be held at Ninjaquest just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. All three youth divisions' finals will be at The Edge in Michigan on Presidents' Day weekend. www.nationalninja.com/adult-schedule.html

They only show the American events for the finals. I'm assuming there will be events across the nations like the UK and Japan and stuff like that? How do they work? (I feel I could easily make it to the finals itself since it's a lot closer to my location)

There are only events in America, but to my knowledge there is still an international qualifier that will work the same as last year's.

The gym I work at is currently looking into becoming the first Canadian based NNL qualifier (open to Americans too of course). We've applied but haven't heard anything back yet. Finger crossed it will happen, as it would be great for spreading the sport.

Picked the best day to rip, 4 days before season opener, so that won't be rediculously painful.. Anyways, the youth division now has like 5 different age groups so qualifying will be quite pathetic, especially when the teens already had like an average of 15 people a comp. My guess is this is to 1, split up the preteens, and 2, get more people to Michigan. It's fine to have long journeys for the adults, but the little kids don't have much dedication, so when most people are stationed at the east coast, I won't be surprised if it's pretty sparse.

For those wondering, Angelilli was the odd man out, meaning Ravert, Galvin, and Licciardello are our first three male qualifiers for the national finals in Georgia!

Turns out Judas didn't qualify. Tyler Behrle did after getting a rerun for the final run of the day, finishing despite missing his last move on the flying bar.

How did you do? Pegboard. The teens didn't have multiple pegs and I don't have the best lockoff strength lol. Whiffed twice near the top and it was all over. Would have gotten 5th but a kid got dqd on the bungees (we had a bungee lache type obstacle) for grabbing the knots and Chris had Justin give him a re run, and he ended up getting second. Hope that lost point doesn't affect me getting a late running position at finals lol.

Some Nick guy, Brad Marasco, and Sean Grimm qualify at Apex. Ridiculous course. I know Anna Shumaker won females. (edit: Jeri D'Aurelio definitely finished 2nd)

As intensive as the first 11 obstacles, and more technically difficult.

Apex Norcal recap. Definitely the toughest NNL course so far.
While their first fall determined their NNL standing, due to the difficulty of the course competitors got to run until their second fall for fun.
