I think Mars, McColl, and Ghisolfi are likely locked in as they've been consistent strong competitors, however. I think so too, but I wouldn't mind seeing some fresh faces and some diversity. Italy would still be represented by Piazza, and the climbers would still be represented by McColl.

We'll be seeing Mohd Redha Bin Rozlan from Malaysia. Oh hey, he usually goes by Mat Redho when competing, he was a top competitor in Sasuke Viet Nam. Great pick imo

Would be shocked if they don't bring in Morimoto.

Would be shocked if they don't bring in Morimoto. He might be busy with work though

Morimoto has already taken a lot of time off work lol. I wouldn't be surprised if he couldn't go. Tomo is a good choice for Japan. He has the size to offset some of the disadvantages Team Japan faced in the past. It's just he bombed last time lol

Updated the OP with a list I'll keep updated.
The 3rd team is still unconfirmed for the year. Sean McColl is still in Canada currently so he is either headed out last minute, or not invited this year (or couldn't go)

Sean should be competing. This post below and he's been posting climbs he's been doing in Vegas this week.

BTW Team Latin America is reported to still be involved in the event despite the terrible showing last year (and you know, lack of ninja competition on their continent)

I don't know if they would have a Team Japan AND Team Asia.
But it looks like Team Asia includes Le Thuc, Tomohiro, and Morimoto.

I know it depends on the showing of the women, but it would be interesting to see a woman on each team. I've seen a lot of buzz around someone named Fanny Ahlfors from Sweden and I think she would add a lot to Team Europe.
