Although I doubt it will happen (seeing as how the date is a Wednesday), it would be really neat if SASUKE 34 aired on September 27, 2017---exactly 20 years to the day of SASUKE 1's original airdate. I feel that if enough attention would be given to this idea, it could make for a good reason for TBS to do a history special or something of the like to hype up SASUKE 34 and possibly draw in better-than-expected ratings. What are everyone else's thoughts? Is this a feasible thing for TBS to do?

In the post Inui made today on Twitter it mentioned Sasuke 34 as ALSO being the 20th anniversary season just like 33. I was thinking about this earlier actually, I think it would be great

The question to me isn't if they should do it (I think they should), but if they will do it (I don't expect that). But to answer the question at hand: Yes, that'd be an awesome way to celebrate the anniversary! Start by showing all four people who've achieved Total Victory, then sum-up their journeys to victory, then an All-Stars vs New-Stars segment, then other notable competitors, then joke competitors. Would also like little segments between talking about obstacles and behind-the-scenes stuff. Did they do anything special (besides the mentions in the respective tournament) for the 10th Anniversary? Isn't it often in the middle of the week anyway though?  |

Did they do anything special (besides the mentions in the respective tournament) for the 10th Anniversary? Isn't it often in the middle of the week anyway though? Sasuke 19 aired 8 days before the 10th anniversary date. Considering how big a flop results were, probably for the better they didn't drum it up. |
