I was just wondering what the opinions of the people on here are on the current cliffhanger, since I'd like it to go a different direction, specifically tilting or moving ledges when you put weight on it. Though I think most people like the UCCH, I'm just curious.

New gimmicks that dumbs it down a bit

New gimmicks that dumbs it down a bit True, probably, but it's probably possible to think up a new gimmick that's just as intimidating, if not, harder, but definitely completable.

Personally, I'd modify the current iteration to make the first jump easier in general because the whole drama is based around the moving ledge and so failures on the first jump just feel anticlimactic. In a hypothetical course renewal, I might just retire the Cliffhanger outright and make a new concept. Now that the Vertical Limit is a thing, just establish that as the proper specific finger strength obstacle.

Just kill it, make every other obstacle (Bar VlKK!) significantly harder/longer. Atm Stage is how strong is your grip strength, should be more all around really.

I thought this was in Sasuke General? Was it moved to 34? If so why?

Remove it... Cliffhanger make the 3rd Stage become too unbalance already... Just look at the 33's 3rd Stage (wait can I spoiler?) 1. Drum Hopper Kai 2. Flying Bar 3. Sidewinder•R Kai 4. UCCH 5. VLKK 6. Pipe Slider
I think it's time to the Cliffhanger to say bye-bye. Vertical Limit can do a better job than UCCH now.

One of them has to take a hike. Personally, I'm a fan of keeping the good ol' Cliffhanger, but it needs to change.

I said try out a new gimmick---one that is particularly difficult to train for via a homemade replica (which is one thing I like about the UCCH's second jump, even if we've only seen one person attempt (twice) thus far). Perhaps a Reverse Cliff Conveyor (where you hang onto a quick-moving, looping, machine-operated ledge that moves toward you and thus you have to "outrun" its speed to clear it)?

I'm cool with it, in fact I'd rather the Vertical Limit got taken out than the Cliffhanger.

I'm a huge fan of just taking out the cliffhanger but that's practically impossible since it's such a well known obstacle. So imo, just make an extremely long cliffhanger that taxes the arms hard but can also be trekked easier through jumping.

I've always liked the idea of something like that - I might just add a small gap that leads to a second conveyer though, so there is one transition. All on the same side, though, with no jumping!
