It hurts my heart to hear this. Those poor kids have to be super upset. Im in the Midwest so wasn't going to go, but if I was I would be in tears right now. That's just terrible news.

Update: The website has been updated. www.anwexperience.com/Both events are officially cancelled. Only official reason given is "Unforeseen consequences surrounding production." There are no plans to reschedule the event again. Thats about it. Posts on the official social media accounts reiterate the same thing.

As a local, sad to hear but not surprised. They did try to advertise on the radio and with (military) Vets, but the price was steep and that stadium is huge.

It's really sad to see that the ninjas found out the same way. That's rough..

Luckily all the ninja pros are stepping up. They're staying in phoenix and are gonna lead exercises and have autograph signings. Real nice of them.

A local rock climbing gym is stepping up and having a comp in the afternoon/evening after the ninjas' event. I'm most bummed for the ninjas that signed exclusive ANWE deals that got them taken off Wolfpack only for ANWE to blow up in their faces. (I assume Wolfpack will take them back.)

Cir9Pro Anything you may be willing/allowed to share about how/why it went south? (if you know anything that is)

Cir9Pro Anything you may be willing/allowed to share about how/why it went south? (if you know anything that is) (Before I start, please note that I was NOT on the ANWe team. I have zero relations with the ANW/Sasuke/NBC brand. Don't PM me asking) No one is going to say anything and because of my position, I won't say anything either. It went high up enough that a specific reason will likely never be released. Don't take this out on ANWe. There were some amazing members of our community putting in hours, days, weeks, months, years to make this a success. From conceptualization, pitch, and production, these groups made waves to bring this new opportunity to us. I don't want to see any more rumors about ANWe being a scam. Within time, I'm sure the story will eventually be told. (tbh, I thought you guys were the sasuke maniacs. I figured you guys would of already known! So TCM, sorry I'm going to decline that question.) Edit: #hint

And this way, you can now nip in the bud anyone who doesn't get the point and tried to PM you.

UPDATE: Remember that competition at a rock climbing gym? Some sponsors are donating a bunch of stuff for goods/prizes (purportedly worth $15,000) to make a better experience for those that already booked their plane tickets. It's making the most out of a bad situation, sure, but at least people are stepping up.

Really shows that they’re good people and truly worry about their fans. Just disappointing that the ANW Experience themselves didn’t coordinate any makeup event though.

Also it would be perfect if they coordinate a make up event for San Diego because the day after when the event was suppose to be, was the start of the LA Qualifers for ANW10. Since San Diego is only a 2 hour drive from LA is would be perfect. Do the event on Saturday, head home Sunday or Monday, then be in LA for the LA Qualifers that Tuesday.

So you expect the same company to use the same resources and manpower to build two different courses 2 hours apart... The course that takes a week to set up... Yeah uhhhm, that isn't happening, you're more likely to have them do the ANW Experience on the actual course, and that's not happening either...

Dunno if the response was aimed toward me, but if so, it’s not that I feel it has to happen immediately, but I feel like they should do a smaller (but still cool) makeup event for all the kids who were disappointed by the cancellation of it. At least send out bags with some merch in them to everyone, a little thing like that.
I’d be a lot less harsh on this if Noah hadn’t proven this is possible by running two Wolfpack Ninja Tours in the last year.

What I was talking about is that Drew and the other Ninjas put together a make up event like they did in Arizona where they meet up at a gym and hang out with fans. That is what I meant
