Hello everybody and welcome to the end. It is now time for the finale of Sasuke Guessing Game XIII: Retire. A total of 34 contestants tested their prediction skills in hopes of becoming the final winner of the series. In addition, as I stealth announced during the entry period, the winner of the Guessing Game will receive a game from me on Steam, up to $30 in value. But before we begin, a few notes:
-Any non-spoiled runs shown during the Navi do count. -A total of 580 points were up for grabs. -The base score for this Guessing Game was 53. -The 1 point rules only had to be used once with #52 Seiki Takasu. Eight people got the point, which ended up breaking a bunch of ties. Hooray!
And now, let’s get started with the people who failed to reach the top 20.
In 34th place with 45 points is thatweednoob!
The last person to enter the last Guessing Game managed to finish in last place! You even managed to score fewer points than the base score! Just like old times!
In 33rd place with 56 points is LusitaniaAngel313!
Oh Emily, Shingo your faith in Shingo has let you down yet again.
In 32nd place with 59 points is gavv!
You should send a fruit basket to Drew because he saved you from taking an embarrassing last place.
In 31st place with 60 points is arthur!
So I don’t know how to say this. You forgot to write how many people will clear each stage. Really cost you some points.
In 30th place with 76 points is chackpop!
Your prediction that someone would have cleared the third stage was a bit naïve, in hindsight.
In 29th place with 89 points is SasukeForever!
You actually managed to get 7, 10 pointers. Unfortunately you failed to score that much outside of that.
In 28th place with 90 points is yamfriend!
So I don’t know how to say this. You accidentally wrote that 0 people would clear each stage. Not very realistic for the first two stages.
In 27th place with 91 points is ZachSmith!
I appreciate you eagerness to enter the game first, but it wasn’t enough, despite correctly guessing how many people would clear stage 1.
In 26th place with 92 points is MattyRox!
I hate that you got Nakayama right because it means he didn’t do better.
In 25th place with 94 points is SRW!
We’ve lost out first past champion! You were one of the few people who didn’t pick Drew or Morimoto to go the furthest. A bold move that cost you.
In 24th place with 95 points is elephant52!
We’ve lost out second past champion! Shame about Yuji.
In 23rd place with 97 points is UnrealCanine!
…I don’t know man. You know how many of these write ups I’ve done? It’s hard to do these things.
In 22nd place with 98 points is Kapitan!
You were the only one who put faith in Jun Sato to go the furthest. Shame about the Flying Bar.
In 21st place with 103 points is GlobalNinjaFan!
You may be a global ninja fan, but you’re not a global ninja predictor.
And that was all the people who failed to reach the top 20. Come back sometime tomorrow to see the people who failed to reach the top 10. Was it YOU???
Question: What if we win but we don't have a steam account?
I can tell you more about SASUKE than I can about my family.
Got hype for a second over the mistake and then saw I went from 26th to 27th. :l
I'll miss this game. I think the best I ever did was top 3, and I believe I've entered every time since Sasuke 25 when I was named DarkPanther43 (that was an interesting one I remember - nobody new what the new obstacles would be or what the order would entail. I distinctly remember just making up a course in my head for Stage 1 and guessing what number obstacle somebody would fail. It was weird because you had to think how the course designers would frame the course. I think I predicted there being like 10 obstacles in Stage 1). May had missed one guessing game actually though.
I remember always picking worst case scenarios for most good competitors so it'd be a win-win situation for me. Either my favorite competitors would do well in the actual tournament or I'd do better in this game. I think recently I got too confident in people's abilities though. Perhaps one tends do to better when they're less optimistic, well at least for me anyway, I guess.
Thanks for the fun Will.
