Everyone is saying Lorin Ball getting POM was a spoiler that said Jake and Meagan would fail. I feel this is not the case since it could have simp;y meant Lorin had the fastest time. I think it is more of a spoiler when it goes to the last run of the night. I like the POM being awarded a little earlier. 1) Jake was storming the course. When he fell, he was 15'' ahead of Lorin. No way an obstacle would've slowed him down so much to stay above Lorin's time. 2) They never show the time of a previous run when the runner finishes slower, only if he beats the time. Had Jake had a slower time, they'd have shown him first and Lorin second. And Meagan is a woman. If she finishes, it's POM.
It was one of the worst spoilers in history.

I would like to point out that a woman finishing doesn't necessarily mean they'll get the POM Run of the Night (ex. Jessie Graff at the LA qualifiers last year finished, but the POM went to the fastest finisher, Kevin Bull), so it still would've been possible for Megan to finish, even knowing that the POM had been given out. I do agree that giving it to Lorin did spoil Jake's though, and that saving the POM for the end would fix a lot of these issues.

I know we are the vast minority of ANW's target audience, but I wish they would do a survey (maybe they already have) asking what value people give on a sliding scale to different aspects of the show (i.e. Sob Stories, POM Run right after the run, skipping vets, etc.) I feel like they would be surprised by the results.

It was bad and the POM Run of the Night shouldn't be revealed until after everyone runs, but the thing that shows the fastest time didn't spoil it. It's not always the case that they put up the time when the person beats it/falls, look at Oklahoma Qualifying with Gil and Stillings.

?
Those two prove my point. The slower one ran first, the faster one second.

Gil was slower than Stillings by a little bit. Also if I recall in Atlanta finals last year, wasn't Drew shown last but McGrath was a bit faster as well?

My thoughts on the Denver Qualifiers. I didn't like it.

Just once, I want the Run of the Night to be a swerve early in the episode just to work this forum. "And even though she failed the Wingnuts, we're going to make that our POM Run of the Night..."

Didn't know where else to post this, but are any of you playing the fantasy game on anwfantasy.com?
If you want a good laugh, check out why some of the players have a low point total. It's because they misspell the names of the competitors. For S9 you'll find entries like Jeff Britan (not joking), Drew Drechell, Jesse McGrath, Jessie Grath and, although written correctly, Isaac Caldiero.

I would've had one of the best teams had I not accidentally edited after the deadline. Oh well.

The Wedge is on the Denver course. It's going to be another massacre next week.

That is bizzare. The rail runner is already super hard and then they have to add in the wedge as well. For a city with so many stars, there may not be a finisher again.

I don't know how he did, but never underestimate the ability of Brian Arnold to make a frustrating mistake.

If he clears I'm going over 100.

You're pretty much rolling a small wheel up an incline and transfer to some bars when you're near the top. Imagine the Roulette Cylinder without the spokes on it going up a curve.

The Governor confused about Ninja Warrior. "What happened?" edit: Why is Mickey Mouse on the course?
