HAH the Leafs are actually in! When was the last time they had a run? I think that was before the Blue Jackets and Wild existed lol.

I really hope the Leafs beat the Capitals, for one because that makes an easier route for the Penguins but also because it would be hilarious.

Day 1 Scores: Road Team | Score | Home Team | Series Score | New York Rangers | 2 - 0 | Montreal Canadiens | 1 - 0 | Boston Bruins | 2 - 1 | Ottawa Senators | 1 - 0 | Columbus Blue Jackets | 1 - 3 | Pittsburgh Penguins | 0 - 1 | St. Louis Blues | 2 - 1 (OT) | Minnesota Wild | 1 - 0 | San Jose Sharks | 3 - 2 (OT) | Edmonton Oilers | 1 - 0 |
Pittsburgh is the only home team to win their game tonight. San Jose came back from a 2-0 deficit to win the game in OT. Jake Allen made 51 saves for St. Louis in their OT win against the Wild.

Day 2 Scores: Away Team | Score | Home Team | Series Score | Toronto Maple Leafs | 2 - 3 (OT) | Washington Capitals | 0 - 1 | Nashville Predators | 1 - 0 | Chicago Blackhawks | 1 - 0 | Calgary Flames | 2 - 3 | Anaheim Ducks | 0 - 1 |
Toronto blows a 2-0 lead (as usual) against Washington and lose in overtime. Rinne shutouts the Blackhawks as Arvidsson scores the only goal of the game. Calgary still can't win in Anaheim.

Voted for Boston Bruins because of the alliteration.

Day 3 Scores: Away Team | Score | Home Team | Series Score | Columbus Blue Jackets | 1 - 4 | Pittsburgh Penguins | 0 - 2 | New York Rangers | 3 - 4 (OT) | Montreal Canadiens | 1 -1 | St. Louis Blues | 2 - 1 | Minnesota Wild | 2 - 0 | San Jose Sharks | 0 - 2 | Edmonton Oilers | 1 -1 |
The Blue Jackets make my prediction of a Columbus Stanley Cup very iffy. The Canadiens tie it in the final seconds and then win it in overtime. St. Louis somehow wins again against the odds. The Oilers score 2 shorthanded goals (including McDavid) as Talbot gets a shutout. Day 4 Scores: Away Team | Score | Home Team | Series Score | Boston Bruins | 3 - 4 (OT) | Ottawa Senators | 1 - 1 | Toronto Maple Leafs | 4 - 3 (2OT) | Washington Capitals | 1 - 1 | Nashville Predators | 5 - 0 | Chicago Blackhawks | 2 - 0 | Calgary Flames | 2 - 3 | Anaheim Ducks | 0 - 2 |
Clarke MacArthur scores his first goal in 2 years and Phaneuf scores the OT winner as the Senators come back from a 3-1 deficit to win against Boston. Kapanen continues to be klutch as Boyle dishes a no-look pass to him for the double overtime game winner. Nashville wreck the Blackhawks so much that their goalie has more points than the entire Blackhawk team combined (Rinne has 2 assists and hasn't given up a goal yet). Calgary still can't win in Anaheim with an own goal being a game winner.

Day 5 Scores: Away Team | Score | Home Team | Series Score | Minnesota Wild | 1 - 3 | St. Louis Blues | 0 - 3 | Pittsburgh Penguins | 5 - 4 (OT) | Columbus Blue Jackets | 3 - 0 | Montreal Canadiens | 3 - 1 | New York Rangers | 2 - 1 | Edmonton Oilers | 1 - 0 | San Jose Sharks | 2 - 1 |
Allen makes numerous saves as his Blues beat the Minnesota Wild and take a commanding 3-0 series lead. A wild game in Columbus as Werenski gets a puck in the face and comes back into the game, Penguins come back from a 3-1 deficit only to lose the 4-3 lead, and then Guentzel gets a hat trick goal in OT where Pittsburgh takes a commanding 3-0 series lead and puts my prediction of a CBJ Stanley Cup in peril. Radulov scores a pretty goal in a Habs win in MSG. Zack Kassian scores his second game winner in a row as his goal off a giveaway is the only goal of the game, with Talbot gets his second straight shutout.

During Easter my brother in law changed the TV to watch the playoffs. The game that was on was the Blues/Wild game. I haven't seen hockey in quite a while..

The fact that the Leafs have surpassed my expectations says a lot, considering the fact that THEY ARE MY HOMETOWN TEAM. (kind of)
