And the flying bar eats everyone. Reminds me of SASUKE 33...

I'm watching the youtube runs since I've largely given up on trying to find footage of the broadcasts.
Um... is there any scoring or structure to this? What I gather is that they're having everyone run every stage, and that so far there's been two stages and then another two for semi-finals?

A little BTS, after they film the closing scene, Drew ran the course once again. With much more pace, he unfortunately fell on the last flying bar like Sergio did

Ok, I have quite a few problems with this competition:
1. The course was really easy, and some people only failed because of simple DQ's (Josh Levin, David Campbell, Kawaguchi Tomohiro). Without those rules the completion rate for all stage could have been higher because the other obstacles are just too easy for the veterans, despite modifications from the regular season.
2. What was the point of this whole competition? At first it was all about teams, but then it turned into ACTUAL Sasuke, so it kinda turned just into another Sasuke. What I wanna know is why the producers made it that format when it could have been a showdown between teams the whole time, truly making it an international competition.
3. Flying Bar...actually this one is bittersweet, and if you watch it you'll know why.
Overall though, I thought the show was still entertaining to watch, and I like the way they chose Team Europe instead of just grabbing ppl like ANW has done. Team Japan wasn't shamed like NBC does them dirty, and there were some genuine shocks.

The Flying Bar is OP... is it because of the wire or the distance between rungs (height/length)?

Its still season two here But yes the obstacle IS too easy and i know pro ninja like Drew not really 100%, i mean some of them just play for fun .. But next year Sasuke Indonesia Will create this competition again with 4 teams,USA,Japan 100% join this competition with 1 more team i guess from Malay or Vietnam.. The obstacle Will a lot difference then this one..

Videos came FINALLY. Somehow I avoided spoilers usually watch the spoilers all the time but... WHAT WAS THAT?! I can't believe what I have just seen. I was so sure that this was gonna be like in Sasuke Vietnam 2 but man that flying bar haha. Like there had to be kanzenseiha, I was so sure about that. This stage 3 brought Sasuke 33 straight up to my mind. I'm gutted for Sergio. He deserved to beat that stage.

SPOILER WARNING:
It was definitely a shame that practically everyone that made it to the flying bar failed it. Respectively, I thought Drew had the best shot of clearing it, considering that he's beaten it each time he's faced it so far (Sasuke 32-34). I especially felt bad for Sergio Verdasco, since he made it the furthest out of anyone of the flying bar, but his hands slipped right when he was about to swing to the platform. I really hope he comes back, and I also hope he competes in other national competitions such as USA vs the World.
