Saw a picture of Obstacle 8
It looks like 4 horizontal cylinders in a row with cliffhanger ledges all over them. I'm assuming they spin, but I'm not sure. Can anyone confirm how they work?
They only turn so far and are at the far end of the close side, you have to keep turning them until you reach the end of the turn distance, transfer over to the next one, repeat I hope that's the final name. (I'm not spamming, I'm not in the wrong thread, I had a reason for putting that here )

Rider, so what saying about obstacle 8 is...
They only spin one direction. Aka they cannot spin back?

Sorry I'm just trying to understand how it's physically possible if it can spin in both directions. So you go up the salmon ladder, and reach your hand forward and start pushing the cliffhanger down so it spins. It keeps spinning till it reaches a stop point. Then you get on the ledge since it won't rotate, reach around to the back side, and then try to do it again. When you're on the back side though, it will just spin back the other direction.

You're overthinking it, imagine a cylinder with like some kind of bar at some point that limits the rotation (I'm not sure if that's how it actually is constructed, just a way to picture it). It moves away from the SL towards the end platform and each one starts maxed out to the close (SL) side, you have to cling on it, max it out the other way, then transfer, and repeat

Anyone have night 1 results? All I can say is the competition was last night was incredible. The obstacles appeared easier than Philadelphia last year but proved otherwise.

Wow! This shows NBA height vs. ninja height (successful ninjas tend to be on the shorter side.) Lebron's older son is as tall as Drew, and I just looked it up - he's 12!

Just decided to check instagram and it turns out there's already one city finals clear: Jamie Rahn!
Looking for maybe two or three more clears tonight.

Here's a video of LeBron James' son LBJ Jr. beating the warped wall, with some coaching from Drew Dreschel: www.facebook.com/MeganWKYC/videos/1729066463776528/(Edited to add: Obviously, at 12 years old, he's not a competitor, so this is not a spoiler of anything we'll be seeing on the TV show!)

It seems like Jaime was the only finisher. Jaime is incredible, but this makes me worried that at least one big name (Chris Wilczewski, Joe Moravsky, Mike Bernardo, Najee Richardson) fell early and didn't qualify.

Of the four people you mentioned, one cleared city finals, two others made it to Vegas, and the fourth didn't make it to city finals
(So you can deduce that Jaime was not the only finisher)

Joe Moravsky: Clear Mike Bernardo, Najee Richardson: Qualified for Vegas Chris Wilczewski: Failed in Night 1 (cause it's an odd-numbered season)

Also, I don't know how the number of qualifiers ended up, but definitely looked like the easiest qualifying course this season. Depending on how hard obstacle 8 was, maybe the easiest City Finals as well.
