So then if he still wants to compete Geoff probably has a better chance of getting a call next time.

Wreathman only arrived on set within half hour because TBS forced him to go even though he was in Europe. So dude came from the airport and immediately onto the set. None of us were surprised how badly he did. So Wreathman did a Levi in ANW 4? Levi only returned to America from the Philippines less than 24 hours before the qualifier because he was doing stuntwork in a movie. He failed the Quad Steps.

Let's hope Ragivaru keeps competing and doesn't disappear to become a farmer making animal shelters out of trash

I guess even the Americans know how to handle the Flying Bar no matter if the bars are cold or not. Still once again, Drew made the farthest.

I don't know if it was the cold or jet lag, but Drew looked off the second he touched the 3rd stage. I'm surprised he made it to the UCCH. He also seemed to be rushing a bit.

Oh god the summer heat is gonna be bruuuuutal. It might not be bad actually. Given he suggested the 6ish week production time will straddle seasons, it will likely film late August or September for an October airing. Bro. August in Tokyo is hellllllll

I know how I feel after an international flight.. then a 2 hour train ride into a taxi from the airport.. I'm surprised he was still standing after all that. But he felt a sense of duty since he finally relented and went. I wish he just continued to say no. He wasn't prepared. Still though, he has a much better attitude about it than I do. LOL He's fine.

August in Tokyo is hellllllll I've only been there in the May-July, so I guess I had it in my mind that it would be colder by the time August/September, but a Google search tells me that August is apparently the hottest month in Tokyo. RIP.

RIP. Oh dear God no.. August is horrible and I'm not even from there. LOL It shares a lot of similarities in weather, humidity and holy-crap-it's-muggy-as-hell as my area in the lower Northeast. iirc it's in the same latitude as Washington, DC and just as hot and muggy in August. We don't get any relief until October at the earliest.

One of the most (unfortunately) memorable moments from this season: lol, when my kids saw that advert they were like "EEEWWWWW!", I do find watching ads from different countries fascinating, just wish they didn't slap adverts into the middle of a run, so frustrating! I found it surprising that Yamada was allowed to compete, I thought he was banned from it a while back? Still it was good to see him attempt it. Takeda did great, still love his customary slap on the back from Nagano at the start, but the biggest shock for me was Darvish's fall, left me gobsmacked. One thing I found a bit disappointing though was Drews 1st and 2nd stage clears digested, found that a bit unsavoury. Overall, an enjoyable watch, pleased there will be a 34

It's been over 24 hours since SASUKE 33 ended and i'm still really pissed off. Mainly because of Nagasaki's never ending quest of escaping the digest reel. Seriously, what this poor bastard has done to deserve digests and cuts if he perfoms bad (like in Sasuke 31)? Same question goes to Sato Jun, who really is stronger than ever before with 2nd time clearing 1st and 2nd stages. Argh, sorry 'bout that.
Also, i don't understand any japan word (expect kanzenseisha) so i have to ask that why Asa was so terrified about his Stage 2 run? He was really weird and relieved after passing it. It's not like he has cried never before but this time it was really weird. Was it because his fellow friends failed 1st stage or was there something else? Hopefully someone can answer that.
After 24 hours i can still say that this was really bad tournament and goes easily to the Top-5 Worst SASUKE Tournaments Ever. It's such a shame, but what can you do? This direction where they have been going for years is just really frustating and kills the good mood instantly. I understand if people enjoyed this tournament more than 32, but i can't feel the same. Whole show feels like rushed.

The most interesting part is the past 9 guys who attempted Stage 2 failed. He is understandably nervous. He is simultaneously carrying the Shin Sedai because simply how badly they done. Other than Asa, only Hioki did okay. The other Shin Sedai screwed up big time. The one who ran before Asa was Takeda btw. He completed the Second Stage 13 times, yet got eliminated by the Salmon Ladder. Of course he is relieved passing the Second Stage because i am sure before attempting it the world was crashing down on Asa.

You know... I just realized something... The most memorable thing to happen this tournament was Ibushi's save on the Double Pendulum, and that was a Navi run lol

Can I just say at this point that I liked the masonic ritual Mori and his pregnant wife did before his run?

Morimoto has such a massive ego. He completely no-sold the clothesline from the Fishbone. At least Ryo was humble enough to oversell it.
