Watched the finale last night. Definitely was not surprised by the final two/winner. The run pacing was pretty great compared to ANW, but it was pretty dumb how some obstacles were edited out if no one failed them. It was also SUPER dumb that they hid the final prize until the very last possible moment. It seems that we share the sentiment about Charissa and Terry being annoying. Ironically I liked the international commentators although perhaps people in those countries found their commentators to be annoying. Certainly, some changes need to be made in Season 2, but I'll be watching. EDIT: Another thing that bugged me in regards to the commentary/editing was how much post-record commentary they had to do because of their fiddling with the results. For instance, in the finale they were like "So after level 1 we go down to 6 competitors, and uh... the last one standing wins" because they didn't want to give away Air Force guy getting injured and eliminated. In their egregious efforts to not confuse viewers, they further confused viewers. I was fine with the commentator, but can see why and they werent my favorite either. And how most watchers favorite commentator is usually a international one. Like, watching with my dad, he loved the South Korean commentators.

For me it was between Brazil and South Korea for their reactions. X3 But yeah, once the next season premieres, hopefully, we'll see some good changes overall.

I can not believe all the hype about winning 50k, and they gave the winner 25k. What absolute greed - the executive producer and producers are so greedy ! You can tell this was just a cash grab for Sly and his money grabbers, 10k for winning an episode ! OMG - that prize money is worse than something in the 1980s. Then 25k unless you get to the top ? Unbelievable.
