I gotta give it to 25 just for course design. I loved the "the old, the current, and the future" themes of the first, second, and third stages.
The first stage had throwbacks to classic Sasuke with the jump hang, rolling log, dome steps, circle slider, and green color scheme. The second stage was mainly unchanged from 24 save the slider drop and DSL The third stage was almost all completely new stuff.
Just felt like a great idea that went along with the theme of a renewal tournament. I was sad they then backpedaled for 26 for the first stage.

26! It was the tournament that made SASUKE seem it had truly become next to impossible. What about 25? IIRC, the UCH was slightly harder in 25 than 26.

26! It was the tournament that made SASUKE seem it had truly become next to impossible. What about 25? IIRC, the UCH was slightly harder in 25 than 26. I liked the First stage way better (Rolling Escargot was a monster, Jumping Spider and HPA were as hard as ever), and the improved Roulette Cylinder + Doorknob combo was a favorite of mine. Plus, because the UCH was already one tournament old and still seemed impossible, there was this foreboding sense of dread throughout the entire tournament– like, we were afraid for anyone who managed to get that far, knowing that their run would almost surely come to an end there. We already knew about David. Okuyama never seemed like he had a chance. Li was the only one who managed to survive who seemed like he had a shot–when he failed, the course just felt impossible. I think Higuchi felt this way too, hence the MAJOR nerfs in 27.

Sasuke 21 hands down. It was the first tournament I remember watching with everyone else on this forum at the time, and there were so many exciting moments that came out of it. To me, the best moments were Brian Orosco clearing with less than a second left, Takeda and Nagano clearing the shin cliff hanger for the first time in general, and also the fact that it helped build karma for Nagano in Sasuke 23 in terms of being able to clear the third stage after the massive obstacle failure with the GRINDING ring in Sasuke 21 itself.

I'll probably get a fire lit under my a** when I say this, but SASUKE 19 for the difficulty. I liked that no one got past Stage 2, it motivated people to train harder and that the course has evolved and wasn't like it once was. SASUKE 20 is a dead second for that same reason in my eyes. Then again SASUKE 28 had one of the most well put together First Stages to date IMO, short, but not easy.

I'm surprised 16 has so many votes- that's such a weird tournament. I like that 19 got some love even though I voted for 15.

Probably 5, due to the addition of the Jump Hang, Warped Wall, Body Prop, and Changing Cliffhangers.
