They said that was over the last 2 seasons. I would've guessed Joe was after Drew, but it's definitely possible it's Gil. He completed 6 more than Joe in ANW8 (Invisible Ladder, Wave Runner, Butterfly Wall, Double Wedge, Wall Flip, Keylock Hang, and Floating Boards). ANW Nation released an article on this topic, and Gil is actually tied with Joe Moravsky for 2nd in most obstacles completed in ANW 7, 8 and city qualifiers in ANW 9. And the actual quote from Matt was, "Over the past 3 Seasons only Drew Drechsel has completed more obstacles than Daniel Gil" where the third season is actually city qualifiers this season. ArticleYep sounds like just about what I'd estimated. I think the all time list highlights three things. 1. Damn, Joe Moravsky has been incredible since he started competing. 2. The show completely disrespects David Campbell and what he's done for the sport. 3. Paul Kasemir needs to be brought back. Still second all-time in obstacles completed after missing seasons 1, 8, and 9.

Despite what Matt Iseman said in his Facebook livestream, there was no actual announcement, though. I wonder if there was a last-minute edit? {Spoiler} As a follow-up to this, I asked Matt Iseman on Twitter about this, and he said:
I guess it's not a spoiler anymore: Kacy Catanzaro is indeed officially retiring this year from ANW. It's kind of odd that they would drop that in a casual way on this broadcast and not either wait till the finals or mention it here in San Antonio. And apparently it seemed to be obvious enough that San Antonio made sense that Matt Iseman thought they were going to announce it there.

Does anyone know what song was playing at the beginning of the San Antonio qualifier?

Hey guys, I love to do stats and documents so I'll sum about San Antonio overall.
Starting with qualifying here's our stats Runners: 115 Floating Steps: 7 Fails Tick Tock: 43 Fails (Ruthless amirite) Spinning Bridge: 10 Fails Sky Hooks: 25 Fails (OUCH) PipeFitter: 14 Fails Warped Wall: 0 Fails Clears: 16 (Fastest time was Daniel Gil) Consensus: Tick Tick and Sky Hooks battered our ninjas
City Finals Runners: 34 Floating Steps:1 Fail Tick Tock: 0 Fails Spinning Bridge: 0 Fails Sky Hooks: 3 Fails Pipefitter: 2 Fails Warped Wall: 1 Fail Salmon Ladder: 3 Fails Hourglass Drop:18 fails (Ninja Killer) Spinball Wizard: 2 Fails Elevator Climb: 3 Fails Clears: 1 (Daniel Gil) Consensus: Hourglass Drop played no games and Elevator Climb was harsh but Gil pulled through!
I enjoyed this 😉
