Awesome that Nagano got to be there. I'm curious how the staff reacted to him being there. LOL It was kept quiet as he didn't want to make a scene.

I'm imagining a sneaky shot of him trying to hide/blend in... Matt: "It's Sasuke legend Makoto Nagano! He's so impressed by our Ninjas that he flew all the way to LA just to watch them in action!!"

I'm sure Matt would remember him, yep. I don't know if many of the others would recognize him. Especially because most people think Ninja Warrior started in America I really hope they give him a quick shoutout as a nod to how Ninja became so popular and we got our own country version

You're probably right. It would've been an exciting event closer to the shows roots in ANW1, 2 and 3

I can see the not knowing Nagano part, but I feel like knowing it's Japanese in origin is fairly well-known.

Most people still think Kacy won. Hopefully not watchers themselves, but people who just hear of it when it trends, and see a video titled like this not knowing the format could somehow think it.

It's a weird thing I now have but it bugs me when people say I'm doing "American" Ninja Warrior training. It makes sense to call it that I know, but I'm always trying to inform people that it's origin is in Japan But that's just my experience!

To answer a question from the last page, 2nd obstacle is Cannonball Slider. No frills, no ropes.

Fun course. I think Nagano was on Campbell's and kretschs sidelines otherwise he was in the competitors area and wasn't really around cameras. First year I haven't seen a camera in the competitors area. Is it a spoiler if I right the name of the 5th obstacle. Personally I like our own nickname the toilet rolls. And for walk on questions every region runs different. I got there 12 days before comp and we did 1 check in a day until the meeting with Peter. So most times we would group at the beach and train or tempest or at the park. We started running around 7 30 pm ended at 4 40 about. Also is it a spoiler if I say how many walk ons ran and how many called people ran

I shall remain silent on runs mine or others. I don't think I'm done competing with the show yet

More than potential, already confirmed Are the competitors even allowed to spoil results before they've been aired? Or is it not so strict with city qualifiers? If any competitors leak anything, they face a small loan fine of a million dollars, however the restrictions on spectators are far less strict, most of the paperwork for that is just signing over the rights for NBC to use your likeness whenever they want (I.E. if they want a random crowd reaction you sign over the right to be the random crowd reaction they pick)
