Why do you guys think Yuuji will fail that? Because of his Double Pendulum fail or is there more reason?
It certainly looks like there is no mat between them which I don't mind, changes it up a bit.
So I'm confused about the Second Stage. In some places the course is listed as fact, but we seem to still be speculating on it?

You can also notice the green bars leading up to the Pipe Slider from the Vertical Limit Kai have blockers so you can't actually rest on them.

What would happen first: Yamada clearing Stage 1, or Takeda clearing this Stage 3?

I could also say he better watch himself on the reverse conveyer based on his performance on Ultimate Beastmaster

New Stage 2 obstacle is called the Ring Slider, a modification of the Blue Stage obstacle in Kunoichi. The second post confirms the speculation: There is no resting point between Flying Bar and Sidewinder and also no resting point between the UCCH and the end of the 3rd stage.

It's official now. No one will beat this course, ever.

Thought the Ring Slider was neat in Kunoichi so cool to see it in Sasuke.
3rd Stage...I'm fine with the Flying Bar + Sidewinder combo. I still think there should be at least one resting point from UCCH + Vertical Limit Kai + Pipe Slider. That's just overkill. It's already specialized enough, now you have to have climbing level stamina to survive.
I wonder if Inui thought of this: If you're the right size, if you can fit your body through the gaps of the green bars and rest on them with your body parallel to the water that way since the bars are so close together, if that's even legal. The blockers just make it so you can't sit on the bar, but it looks like you could lie on them.

2nd picture official shows the Salmon is indeed the Up and Down double salmon again, and shows the conveyor is indeed back between Backstream and wall lift

I expect to see a Koji Yamada-esque pipe slider fail out of anybody who makes it that far.

well, as JBL would say, "if you're looking to make a statement, job well done" and inui accomplished exactly that.
