I got a report (just a report and not the video) of what was covered in the Nico Nico broadcast that we missed from the end of December. I got it just in time for the podcast. I go into detail over a half hour span. I wanted to put it on the podcast to help raise awareness of it and the fact that I got it right before we were going to tape. If the link is not working or you need to find a timeline - the direct link to the video is here. I have the video up to that point so feel free to discuss! ♥ Edit: I forgot I sprinkled some of the news everywhere that full section (since we got distracted by ANW9).

I have this feeling in my head that if Yamada trains hard enough, he could at least reach stage 2. I don't think the tackle would zap his strength too much if he reaches that part of stage 1 and of course if the stage remains the way it was back in 32.

{Spoiler} Wow, Yamada returning? That will be an interesting run. I would say he has no chance at that Tackle/Soritatsu Kabe combo, but I don't know if he will even make it that far.

TBS/Inui/whoever are evil. They know damn well Yamada's just going to take the bait and embarrass himself.

{Spoiler}Well i guess he has a chance of clearing stage 1, if he's healthy enough to even compete

Having now trained on the tackle/wall combo, I am here to let any optimists know that Yamada has exactly zero chance.

If he can even get to the Warped Wall that'll be fine.

I think it's only because we're laughing at the irony that Yamada is banned and yet he seems to always find a way to either get involved or compete again. I can't imagine how Nagano will commentate Yamada's run tbh...

Gonna watch now. I don't like the title. If this is an implication that the rolling log is coming back, I'm gonna cry (failed that obstacle as a tester and barely passed it during ANW 5).

My advice is just death grip and don't let go until it's completely stopped, SERIOUSLY lock in your legs and pinch the handles as hard as you can. Now I realize it was the ANW version I cleared but I assume the same technique applies

I think former competitor commentary, especially Nagano is something the show can benefit from. It depends as well on how he'll be used. We know he'll get in particular quips here and there but will he be allowed to provide proper analysis? Is it known whether he'll be doing on-set commentary or will they do it like the old days/some Rising tournaments where they'll reserve a few minutes of the broadcast every so often for his insight in a studio?

Nagano will be taking over the role of Box Girl. He better practice his facial expressions.
