Is it usually a separate topic when tickets are announced or will it be part of this thread? Yeah. Each region has their own thread. Speaking of those threads, how far in advance will those be created? Or does it have to do with when building starts?

Darn, why do they always have to do the LA qualifiers mid-week instead of the weekend? Season 4-7 was shot Friday thru Saturday on l.a. (venice) last year and his year are the first times they've been mid week

Now I get it. I was listening to the final stage podcast about Drew probably not being able to compete on sasuke this year and I got confused.

We're getting within range of LA and I'm dying to see what it's like. My main advice to ANW (I know this isn't a criticism email here but still) is to keep up most of what they did last time around, especially the digital series. As long as there are no spoilers in those then we're all good!

I wonder why they chose Cleveland out of all cities in Ohio. That's a three-hour drive from my house. It's the only Ohio city anyone outside of/not from Ohio has actually heard of. And hey, at least it's not DETROIT!

I'll give you a break on Springfield though They've likely gone to Cleveland due to the breakout seasons for the Cavaliers and Indians. Most people know about major cities in the states due to sports teams, and while Cincinnati has the Bengals and Reds, they didn't have particularly great years, and Columbus doesn't have a team in any of baseball, basketball, or football.

Well there is Ohio State in Columbus though maybe I just have some state pride and just wish we were represented better than Cleveland I guess. The rest of the locations are cool though, Daytona sounds sweet!

Anyone thinking the Invisible Ladder gets replaced this year? Going by ANW's pattern the final City Finals obstacle gets cycled out every 2 years. It was the Cargo Net for ANW 3-4, the Spider Climb for ANW 5-6, and the Invisible Ladder for ANW 7-8.
Personally, I think since it's incredibly difficult and not many ninjas have reached it, they'll keep it. But I'm hoping they modify it in some way. Change the rings to nunchucks, etc.

At least people fail the ladder, I like that. And wasn't the cargo net the final of ANW2 also?

Eh...no...it's just the Ohio schooling system goes hard on Ohio history and geography, I know a lot of pointless stuff about Ohio unfortunately! I mean I get out of Ohio but not as much as I would like if you know what I mean Bernardo

And yes the Cargo Net was the final obstacle in ANW2, it goes farther back than that though, it was the final obstacle in ANW1 as well. Although ANW4 they did kind of update it and got a brand new net with white ropes, ANW1-3 still used that leftover piece from the 2008 American Gladiators reboot
