How about Myike Tanaka Sadomi Koymia and that girl that got DQ in 8 Anw Kacy Megan Jessie Michille Tainnia That discussion has already been put to rest. The KUNOICHI women are just too old and past their prime now to stand a chance against any of the ANW women.

How about Myike Tanaka Sadomi Koymia and that girl that got DQ in 8 Anw Kacy Megan Jessie Michille Tainnia The last Kunoichi competition prior to this was in 2009, that was after coming back after the first time it ended with the last competition being in 2007, competitions were once a year, the majority of your list was at their peak of competition in the earlier tournaments. The rise of the female ANW competitors clearing has only been the past few years. Do people somehow not see how that'd be a bit skewed as far as competition. Also for perspective, also in 2009 was the last time Nagano Makoto made it to the final stage in Sasuke, he has also since had his family grow and age catch up to him which both caused a restrict in training which led to a stage 1 failure streak and the choice to retire. I'm not saying Nagano is a perfect comparison here but this is more a point being made on the perspective of time of why it'd be an unfair edge to the ANW womens team.

Well maybe the top 5 rockies from kounchi 9 can take on the ANW women Rockies? Like these Rockies? 'Cause I'm not sure they'd do too well on the course...

Copying and pasting here because the news is also relevant to Kunoichi. Applications close today in Japan. ( 16 hours from the time of this post) So SASUKE 33 is close at hand? The construction is true! I checked the map! So exciting! They start digging in 4 days (Seems the picture is a Google image from last year that somehow caught it after digging and before full construction. I think the picture is AMAZING). Remember in order: - Both applications close
- Kunoichi call outs FIRST
- Sasuke call outs
- Kunoichi tapes (different location from Midoriyama)
- Sasuke tapes (Midoriyama)

The Sasuke twitter is posting that Kunoichi aps are close at the same time.. seems they are figuring out they aren't getting enough women to apply.. I posted one myself but it's only 12 hours left.

Applications are now closed! Unusual but they actually announced the dates of the Osaka and Tokyo Auditions ahead of time!
Osaka is up first and that is Saturday, January 14. Tokyo is last and that is Sunday, January 22.
Calls start on Tuesday! Remember they do Kunoichi calls out first since taping for that is very soon.

Taping is at Makuhari Messe which is the hall where they taped several Sportsman No. 1 shows (they always said Tokyo Bay Colosseum but in reality it was a number of different halls).

The taping location has an English website for those who want a glimpse at where it is. Since it's a private event, it's not listed in the events page (not that I expected it to be considering there's still no official public name and only a tentative one on top of there only being the audience that's allowed for the lottery). www.m-messe.co.jp/en/

Hmm.. that's about the same size but different configuration. iirc Sportsman used the circle event hall (from interviews, etc.). Spodan I'm not sure they actually showed the outside so I can't compare without asking around. Either way the rooms are huge so it should be pretty big inside and all of them are larger than the arena used for the original Sasuke 1. That building was tiny and is now defunct anyway. Edit: It is the same place as Sports Danshi. So if you want a comparison or what can fit in that size arena just look at that event.

Oh it's at Makuhari. Yeah that place is freakin huge. Tons of concerts play there and it's where TGS is held. I've been there multiple times recently. Really love that area of Tokyo. SO I'm trying to sign up for live viewing of Kunoichi, but am I seeing this right? It's on a Thursday? Whyyyyyyyyyy

If I am not mistaken, it was reduced into a three stage course just like KUNOICHI 1 and 2.
Timing:
1st STAGE: 9am to approx/estimate 4pm 2nd STAGE: 5pm to approx/estimate 9pm FINAL STAGE: 10pm to approx/estimate 12am (27 Jan)
Obviously, the time is subject to change depends on the competitors or any other issues.
Location: HALL 8 @ UKNOWWHERE.

Yeah no one is talking about the format and I immediately saw the "Final" stage being after the 2nd. Given it is a reboot and they are changing the format to begin with I'm not freaking out. This is after all the exact same hall used for SpoDan. I'm looking forward to it. It's not like it was for 8 where we EXPECTED it to be just like 7 then wtfisthat came out. LOL As for it taping on Thursday.. it's a TV show. ANW would like a word with you. LOL Heh.. historically Sasuke used to be taped on a Monday so the fact that it moved to weekends during the Rising era got people kinda spoiled.

Which is weird because later they do mention how audience members under 20 are not allowed to stay during the 3rd Stage and beyond.

I really hope this doesn't mean the final stage is going to be drunken bikini strip jello wrestling... Although knowing Inui's record we can file that into the "plausible" category...

I wonder if they are gonna have the bib numbers based on breast size from lowest to highest like in Sasuke that one time.....
Jokes aside, I assume they are doing K9 at the Sports Danshi place because of the fact that they are breaking ground at Midoriyama for 33 soon?
