There has been talks (a couple years ago) to change format specifically for this show. If it is, I'd be interested in seeing it. We'll see. The fact that the name is only tentative and not exact leads me to believe it's a reboot of the franchise. LMFAO Seems Inui JUST found out.. and is now trying to design the event.. now..

LMFAO Seems Inui JUST found out.. and is now trying to design the event.. now.. We don't know when the Sasuke taping is, but if it's as early as we think it is, and they don't even have the Kunoichi course started, that doesn't leave them with much time. I think we will see plenty of old obstacles return, mainly just because they might not have much time to make many new ones.

Well on the application it clearly states early January (right after the deadline). As for course, that's not difficult to do. I've seen them build and tape Sasuke as fast as 10 days. (Sasuke 26 was this way). So given that they have a month I'm sure it can be done. I was guessing Sasuke would be in late January, early February to air in March (since it is announced as "Winter" Sasuke and the first day of Spring is March 20'ish) and it take Inui 6 weeks to edit the show. So we'll see. Correction: Auditions is in Early January (Cut and paste from website - (2) Audition Scheduled to take place in early January 2017) So that means that those auditions are before Sasuke 33's auditions. Hmm... curious if they will build Kunoichi, tape it then do Sasuke after?

Will be interesting seeing Graff there, should she go; it would be a good platform to make sure she doesn't blow away the competition (assuming the balance theme returns), as she's more known for her technique and consistency than balance.

TBS' official twitter also showing the addition. Remember that it is the same website but now has 2 links. The top one is for Kunoichi and the other is Sasuke. (Junior high and higher - so that's 7th grade+ roughly 11-12 years old) Both deadlines are identical - January 6, 2017. However, Kunoichi states early January for those auditions and Sasuke 33 states mid January for those auditions.

I wonder if the NBC money will allow them to have the infamous Jello pools All jokes aside, I am very interested to see what type of course Inui will come up with. I wonder if they will have upper body obstacles.

How many ANW women will go to this? I can name almost a dozen right off the top of my head that would excel if not win this thing.

Well, that just came out of bloody nowhere. But somewhat hyped even if not as good as Sasuke. Still like to watch.

Yeah, if they plan on bringing some of the ANW women over, they need to adjust the course difficulty accordingly. Women like Jessie Graff, Michelle Warnky, Jesse Labreck, etc. are legit and they should probably make this Kunoichi course more traditionally Sasuke-styled rather than balance obstacles everywhere. Only time will tell.
