The only reason I see it being Shingo is that it's an anniversary tournament. But even that's a stretch. Prob be Yusuke.

People...Shingo in 100? Get a grip. He's probably going to be in the early 90s or even the #1 as this is an anniversary tournament (similar to Akiyama in SASUKE 20). Morimoto is the latest grand champion, the person TBS is pushing and promoting as the next big thing and the competition is being pretty much held for him (first tournamnet after Total Victory). The 100 is going to stick with him for the next few tournaments.

Shingo as #1 would be nice. Unnecessary maybe, but nice. #100 has to be Morimoto.

99 and 100 have to be Drew and Yusuke, respectively. They've absolutely earned those positions.

what number do u think brent or jun sato will get? Doubt Brent comes back; if he does, maybe 86 or something. Jun might come back, 91 or 92 perhaps.

what number do u think brent or jun sato will get? I assume they would try to invite Geoff over Brent, despite his success in 32.

Also technically Brent is the one with Sasuke history, not Geoff, despite the fact he's an ANW champion that doesn't mean TBS owes him a spot, don't get me wrong, I'd love to see Geoff in Sasuke, and I'm sure many other people would, and I'm sure Geoff would love to go, but logically he's not automatically owed anything

Reminder that it doesn't work the same way anymore. Did you forget they didn't even invite Drew last year? I have no idea what they will do now. Remember also that Comcast is involved again. Who the hell knows who will be invited again.

How did Drew manage to compete without being invited? - Sasuke got pushed back - Geoff had an invite during the original date - Geoff had to back out once the scheduling change just so happened to fall on the same weekend as the Philly qualifier - Once there was an opening, Drew paid his way and didn't receive help from NBC IIRC

Even though he needed permission from NBC first they never helped with any logistics for anyone going to Sasuke. The last person "sponsored" was back in the G4 days way back in Sasuke 27.
