Well, Higuchi said he always aims for around 10 people to beat stage 1. So he'd probably be pissed that no one beat it. He has said that one maybe two times before, but if only 7 cleared in Sasuke 18, why did they make the course diabolically harder in the next tournament?

First, 6 cleared in Sasuke 18.
Secondly, the design team (not Higuchi) aimed to make every single person fail. When that didn't happen in 18, they wanted to be sure it would happen in 19. Higuchi of course was surprised about how 19 turned out, though the design team must've thought "damn! we were SO CLOSE!".

Also, in 18, three people got to the Cliff Hanger. Nagano won and the whole course was made harder... and yet three people breezed through to the half-way point of stage three.
I think that was a big factor in its redesign as well.

If sasuke was like every 3 months or something then yeah I would like to see a all 100 fail stage 1 once but because its such a big gap between tournaments its just not a good idea at all.

I agree there. But seriously, if all 100 people failed I'd be pissed they let comedians run such a tough course and not actual athletes. In my opinion, if they want to make a harder course they should have more top athletes run it. It's a two way street between how tough the course it and who you decide should run it.

If only we were able to control the results...... But I wouldn't mind seeing this once before the ending of the show. Obviously we want people to beat the course, because it is the hardest obstacle course challenge in the world (as far as I know). However, the drama of every 100 people failing will be interesting to some fans, not only because it never happened in history of SASUKE before, but also it is shocking to see no one passing the first stage. Would it bring down the ratings? Yes. Would I like to see this happen? Most likely not. How would I feel if this happens? I would be more anticipated to see the next tournament to see how people improved, and also the obstacle changes if possible.

If everyone failed Stage 1, I'd say, "Woooooooooooowww. That was a waste of time for me." I actually think this will happen in a few tournaments after somebody beats this version of the course. They're seriously gonna have something like that monster-shin-cliff hanger on Stage 1.
