I think they are going to make it regardless. ATS is planning on making Ninja Warrior Canada, and the fact that CTV bought the Canadian broadcasting rights to ANW makes me believe that Ninja Warrior Canada/Canadian Ninja Warrior is a year or two away from being a thing.

I think you might need more than 100 signatures

I dont think signatures are going to help too well but I really do want to see Canadians do this! And maybe be decently close to quality like BB Canada and Amazing Race Canada.

Yeah I thought they already made an announcement on that.

I don't know why it has 100 as the goal, it didn't give me an option.
Nothing is confirmed atm, ats just says their looking at "potential market" in Canada. I'm sure ctv is considering green lighting a Canadian version, but this is just something to nudge them in the right direction and show there is interest from the public.

As Matt said, nothing is confirmed. The thread you're thinking of arsenette is this one. Basically ATS listed in a few places on their site about plans to develop Australia, Brazil and Canada. Obviously Australia has been confirmed since then. That said, they've provided no other information on development, networks, etc. I would be very hesitant calling it an official announcement until a network confirms development, but I would say it signifies a probable likelihood of appearing over the next few years.
