I want Sasuke 33 because I enjoyed Sasuke 32 and it reinvigorated my love for this show.
Also I'm in Japan now so I'll definitely go to Tokyo tryouts if I'm able. Maybe I can luck my way into watching live to get the unfiltered experience.

I am only leery how much the show will change with Comcast paying to be back in it.. If they bend too much to their whims the show will fundamentally be changed from the Sasuke we know and love.

How much different would it be though? The Shin-Sasuke tournaments didn't suffer from that.

It fundamentally changed/locked out international entries.

Look at 27 as a prime example. Not only did it fundamentally change the look of Sasuke, it was altered worldwide in it's distribution. M9 alone changed how they handled the license once NBC was involved since they were hoping the extra money kept them from losing their company (which we all know they squandered and they went down despite the sacrifices) only to see NBC pull out entirely and leave Sasuke high and dry with Americans having to jump through hoops to get back on the show. One could argue it didn't recover. As for what they can do now.. you seem to be forgetting the war in Japan over how 32 was edited to benefit the American show that doesn't even air in their country. I mean we now know why.. but seriously.. now that we all know how NBC handled it before, who is to say that they won't make more changes now that they are actively investing money in what is essentially more and more their property.

I get that every American had to go through NBC, and I agree that NBC shouldn't mess with Sasuke, but imo it's better to have the 10 people than the 1 or 2 that we have had in the Rising tournaments.
EDIT: I should add that I understand the dangers of NBC messing with the American process of getting on Sasuke. Ideally Sasuke should have an international trial open to anyone from any other country, but I digress.

NBC BS and politics aside, I love the international presence in Sasuke. I feel it slightly dropped in the Rising era and after Li En Zhi left. Wouldn't mind if we saw more of it.

Sasuke is made for a domestic audience. Also, NBC has done nothing to accommodate Japan in ANW so why should they take over Sasuke? We don't know what that entails right now, however given their history I'm worried. NBC BS and politics aside, I love the international presence in Sasuke. I feel it slightly dropped in the Rising era and after Li En Zhi left. Wouldn't mind if we saw more of it. Sasuke never changed with international presence. But they haven't really shown them in Sasuke. Heck in the past couple of tournaments we had quite a few countries represented. Another reason why I'm upset about the editing during the Rising era.

Because it's Sasuke! Doesn't need a better reason than that!
