I don't get why fans lump in The Amazing Race, Survivor, and Big Brother in a big group. A race around the world should be fundamentally different from shows that revolve around being stuck in one place. It's why I usually hate the contestants that crossover from those shows onto The Amazing Race.

A race around the world should be fundamentally different from shows that revolve around being stuck in one place. It's why I usually hate the contestants that crossover from those shows onto The Amazing Race. That's exactly why they lump them in (at least in America), crossover competitors (some that have done well like Survivor contestants making it to the end of Amazing Race or Amazing Race competitors winning Survivor or someone like Caleb from Big Brother who gave Survivor one of the most legitimately tense and frightening medical evacuations when he suffered severe heatstroke and had to be airlifted out; brought memorable moments for the show which the show has gone on record saying he's gonna return one day. That, and they share the same network and sometimes fanbase and have virtually been around together since their inceptions. Survivor premiered May 2000, Big Brother premiered July 2000 and TAR September 2001. The association has always been there.

Big brother is for middle class losers looking for...well, you know I mean maybe that's how it is over there, but if you get the chance, watch BBUS. There is so much gameplay and strategy involved that it is a very exciting show to watch here. For the most part, there are a few "jobbers" that are searching for fame and get evicted like immediately before you really get to see the gameplay from everyone else...and trust me...there have been some damn good strategists on that show

Or anyone on SMF...especially someone special

Let's knock off the bashing of other Fandoms. Whether you like it or not, someone else does.
----
On-topic:
Online Activity (forums / reddit / etc): In a manner similar to how I treat Sasuke, in that I'm active on forums or reddit for a particular topic? None, aside from this one. I used to be heavy into communities for certain games, but now I'm just lurking general gaming news sites & blogs, without actually reading or contributing to the community forums. I'll also lurk various gaming related subreddits, but I very rarely post. Now that I think about it, aside from SMF, I don't actively participate on any site aside from Reddit, and even then, only very specific subreddits, and not often at that - still usually a gaming or technology related subreddit though.
Non-online activity (still love, just don't participate in communities): Other fandoms that I love and appreciate even if it means not participating in online communities? - Star Wars - Blizzard Entertainment (Warcraft, Starcraft, Diablo, Hearthstone, Heroes of the Storm, Overwatch) - Game of Thrones - Marvel Cinematic Universe (films & TV/Netflix shows only) - Avatar (Legend of Aang & Legend of Korra) - Olympics
I read a hefty amount of subreddits, news blogs, etc - for each of these fandoms, but I almost never post ever - usually just reading things. The closest I'll get to these communities now is Reddit, or friends & family who share similar interest.

Similar to Anshin, I don't do as much as I used to. I was heavy into sports tied to the Olympics and moderated a ginormous figure skating board before I realized the thankless nightmare job that is. LOL
Bunch of things really. Gaming as Anshin will attest as I love watching E3 because I play a lot of games even if I'm late to the party with a few. Lack of money will do that. LOL YouTube. That is actually my predominant television watching (I'm a cord cutter so I don't watch television outside of YT and Netflix). Anime - bunch of stuff though I consider myself a serial marathoner. I buy series I love and watch them over and over (Currently marathoning Log Horizon and Nana). Olympics - Summer is Swimming and Gymnastics and Winter is just about everything as I love alpine skiing (watching.. I'm not crazy enough to do) and figure skating and hockey and luge and.. yeah.. I love winter sports. Even with that wide variety I only really post stuff on Sasuke or the MMO Reddit that I play which is FFXIV. The rest I lurk.

Manga
Anime too, but really Manga. I wouldn't be surprised if I've read more than everyone here combined. It's kind of gross actually.
