For those who doesn't know what "Easy Setting" is, it's essentially a setting designed for Middle School/Junior High (13~15; ex. Kota Honma in SASUKE 13~15), women, and 50+ (ex. Kenjiro Ishimaru), where there are noticeable changes compared to regular competitor (male; 16~49), such as Warped Wall (shorter height), trampoline obstacles (Jump Hang, Jumping Spider; shorter distance), lighter weight for Tackle, etc. IIRC, it was implemented around SASUKE 11~13; it was very noticeable by 13. Even though Tanabe Chie, the only woman EVER to clear 1st Stage, fits in that category, there was no such setting back in SASUKE 2. As of this writing, no one has passed 1st Stage with that setting; although several has come pretty close in past (Ishimaru in 17) and in "RISING" era (Oshima and Murofushi in 31, Kacy in 32 (very close!) ); 18~27 was brutal, since no women passed Half-Pipe Attack and only Ishimaru came close in 21 (failed Flying Chute). I'm curious whether or not this setting is applied for 2nd Stage and beyond. For 2nd Stage, I can see something like extended time limit (5~10 seconds addition), shorter jump distance for Metal Spin, slower current for Backstream, lighter weight for Wall Lifting; though I highly doubt that those are available. It's hard to predict how 3rd and Final would look like, but I'm going to assume if anyone ever came this far, setting would be same as regular. What do you guys think?

Firstly, I'd put the spoiler on Kacy's result, since Sasuke 32 happened very recently. But I've been wondering the same thing. I'm not sure if the producers would even expect anyone from that group of people to make it to Stage 2. They've been lucky for quite a while, but considering recent results, they have to be prepared for that situation.

Pretty sure that if a guy like me who is 15 years old, or anyone younger have cleared stage 1, I'm not sure if Stage 2 is going to be the "Easy Setting"
I was hopping that Kota Honma did well on Stage 2, but it is a "what-if" situation. What if he did pass the spider walk, Is the walls going to be 66, 88, 110 LBs like the adults? I wouldn't see a easy setting if a person do reach Stage 2 at this "Rising" Era. Since it's basically easy obstacles that even some kids on youtube can even do a salmon ladder. (Which in this case, I need to learn how to do a salmon ladder :l.)

Kota challenged 2nd Stage with normal setting, since he was 16 in SASUKE 17. I doubt that TBS has lighter/easier wall. Good luck with Salmon Ladder though.

Well, calling it an 'easy' setting seems a little disingenuous. It's made easier in comparison to a certain subsection of competitors but it's still difficult enough if you don't have the skill. Easy means 'not difficult,' and there are plenty of people who would fail the adjusted obstacles whether they fit the threshold or not.
Chie didn't have one in Sasuke 2 because the First Stage didn't really need one in comparison. The only things you could do would be extend the padding before the Barrel Climb and on the landing of the Rapid Descent. The Free Climbing belt was pretty slow as it is although you could possibly make it slower, but that didn't matter.
But really, she didn't have a different setting because...it wasn't thought about. If it was, she wouldn't have had to hope she suddenly became Ms. Fantastic just to reach the walls.
There are obstacles in Stage 2 you could possibly adjust in the past but there weren't much of many you could; and one time, Sasuke stole from Kunoichi with the Swing Ladder. In terms of the current course, slightly higher time limit and a reduced jet on the Backstream. Maybe the Cross Slider. Considering it took a while to fix the Wall Lifting when the obstacle malfunctioned last year when the walls got stuck due to humidity, I doubt they'll want to create new walls and swap them out, especially now with the counterweight system.
If there's a Stage they probably deliberately wouldn't adjust, it would be Stage 3. You had the Body Prop but that had to be adjusted for everyone based off height and it also happened to be one of the few obstacle not hanging overhead. Considering the limited space for Stage 3, outside of adjust the finish pad, I don't see much being needed to change.
