After seeing almost all of the stage two qualifiers destroy the ssecond stage, do you think it will be changed?

Maybe they might modify it slightly.

They needed to do something since Levi crushed in 20.

It was a bit humiliated. I'm sure it will be changed in some way, at least time limit wise and perhaps obstacle wise too. Swing Ladder is unlikely to remain.

I think they'll either cut the time down or add in another obstacle. It seems you either blow through Stage 2 or fail spectacularly so maybe some better balance is needed.

At this time, I think only the Swing Ladder ought to be removed. The Metal Spin finally took someone out after a long stretch of successes, so I think it'll stay. If any other changes are made, I think it'll be on the Salmon Ladder again. But that's me.
And oh yeah, next time knock the time limit into the 70's (in terms of seconds). Eventually it'll drop back to 60 or 65 seconds.

I think that big changes will happen to the 2nd Stage in the next tournament. It will not stay the same, that is for sure. That second stage reminded me of Sasuke 6 or Sasuke 15 and in the following tournaments, the second stage was changed pretty significantly.
At the very least, the time limit should be 70 seconds or even, 65 seconds with this present course. People like Kanno or Yuuji who make perfect runs on the Salmon Ladder should finish with about 5-8 seconds left. So hopefully some new obstacles will be introduced to make a better balance between time and obstacles.

The down hill jump salmon ladder and wall lift will remain the metal spin and swing ladder will definatly change for something harder and the time limit will be sliced down.

I think they might just leave a lot alone but change the swing ladder. No matter what.. it still took out different people in 21. The only returning person to beat it was Lee this time around so he was the only one they might change the 2nd stage to. Still.. someone did lose to the metal spin and that is still a hard obstacle if you don't jump JUUUUUUUUUST right.. I suspect they will change only the swing ladder thingie.

Well, on the G4 forums, I was nearly positive that the ONLY change to the entire course would be the Swing Ladder. ANYTHING would be better than that piece of junk: The Net Bridge, the Sky Walk, the Balance Tank, the Reverse Conveyor Belt, the Ledge Walk, the Tackle Machine, the Eye of the Needle, the Chain Swing, the Arm Bike, the Pillar Path, the Pipe Slider (no jump)...

I think they should chop the time down to 70 seconds replace the swing ladder with the sky walk)b/c it was never used), or sum other new obstacle and see how those results go and add some sort of balance obstacle.....

I agree, but after 19's second stage results I wouldn't have removed an unattempted obstacle. It looked like a cliffhanger going the opposite direction while you can sort of use your toes, hence walking on the sky.

It feels as though there continually making every stage easier...
I mean besides the Half-Pipe attack, I haven't seen a new hard obstacle. I think Monster 9 learned there lesson from Sasuke 19.
I think what there going to do is just slice off a crap load of time, meaning if you waste any time on the Salmon Ladder, your screwed.
And I hope they don't change the Climbing Bars cause thats the only obstacle I have mastered :)

The Slider Jump was a hard new obstacle, It took out Nagano, Levi, Paul Terek, and many
others. Also, the climbing bars were replaced in Sasuke 19

They need to increase its difficulty. No longer is it stage two. It's simply a piece of crap you have to go through to get to stage three.
The Salmon Ladder should be made harder and the Wall Lift should be heavier. The other obstacles maybe should be replaced with actual challenging ones.

You never know... The second stage has finally been experienced enough for people to destroy it. With the bar already heavier and longer than before on the salmon ladder. . . this may be the hardest the second stage will ever be . . . the most thay can do at this point is to replace the Unfailable Swing Ladder and lower the time limit
