Are you talking about the guy who was #77 in Sasuke 18, Masafumi Kato (the one with the camo all over, even his face)? Wasn't he the one that won that race? And wow, I had no idea Ishikawa came back! I was thinking all this time that he was just a one-shot guy (which would've been too bad because I thought he did good in 14). Where'd you find this out? So who was 100 during 18? I've always wondered this. There's pretty much no broadcast of this tournament that shows who came after Kenji Takahashi, as he was 98.

100 in SASUKE 18 was a person named Ryouta Kume 粂良太 (I think). He was a two-time winner of this crazy race from a temple called Fukutoko: leepi.milkcafe.to/whatfukuotoko.htm He failed the Pole Maze. Shunsuke Nagasaki didn't participate in SASUKE 22.

He was planning to compete. Said so in his blog which is why people were sure he was there (including a photo of him practicing the Shin-Cliff Hanger). I don't have the details as to why he didn't.

I think someone posted that he was training for his trampolining with someone on the day of the competition. I am sure Ube could tell you for sure

It was discussed in the other thread (Sasuke 22 Rumors/confirmations) towards the end.
