I'm sorry, but fast forwarding 3 full challenges is just not ok. I don't care if it's on YouTube, you can't fast forward three challenges. Also, I think it's time to axe the team competition. No one cares about it and it only exists to put the women on stage 3. I agree they should have just probably made it 3 hours. People have been craving Ninja and I don't think they would mind.

So the biggest thing for me wasn't Drew on the Shelf Grab, James on the Invisible Ladder, or even Jon Alexis on the Wall.
It was motherf***ing Coolridge Urushihara-Ing the Hang Climb. Wow

The clip of Drew going Super Saiyan is on the official channel... {Spoiler}
edit - I misheard Matt's "Super Sonic" as "Super Saiyan". I am ashamed of myself, or something. However, during the 14' attempt, Akbar said "Drew Drechsel better go Super Saiyan on this one" followed by yelling "SUPER SAIYAN ON THE SUPER SONIC" twice.

Besides that it was awesome.

Did they fast forward the peg Board? I missed the last quarter of the show.

Quite simply, they should've axed the team part and just did skills because that's the most exciting part of the show, and digesting full events was a nightmare and pissed me off to be honest.

I liked the team comp because it showed a lot of Coolidge, which is what he deserves.
But other than that, yeah, axe it.

David Campbell spotted a bunch of times! Stratis wore a sasukefan.com 2011 shirt. That's pretty much the only Sasuke mention/sighting we got tonight. Attachment DeletedAttachment DeletedAnyway, this year was an improvement over last year. The Team Competition was a relay race, so the pacing was quicker, every member involved in each race, and no runs fast-forwarded or cut. Even though it was 45 minutes this year instead of an entire hour, I still don't like having it take up so much time of the broadcast. Maybe don't have it at all. No offense, but despite the format change, it is still - watch B-Teams before/after USA vs. The World. With an extra 15 minutes, there were seven skills competitions compared to five last year. Unfortunately, three of them were fast-forwarded. {Some thoughts}Flip got through Snake Run with only the three steps along the right side. After Vegas Finals, I suspected someone would try it. I like that they got rid of that ring jump in the middle of Giant Ring Swing. The actually dangerous jump where you fly toward a giant hook pointed at your face. Coolridge got through Hang Climb so easily with only his hands. Afterwards, it was funny seeing him effortlessly hang on the side with one hand after tagging off to Flip, and then hanging upside down. It's interesting how Flip took the time to adjust himself after each step on the Walking Bar.
Invisible Climb could be part of a 2 or 3 part Final Stage, or the entire thing. On its own, the timer would probably be 40 or 45 seconds. Jamie Rahn's first climb was around 36. His second climb could've ended around 43. Stratis could've hit around 43. Chris could've hit around 44. McGrath's first climb was around 32, and his second climb was 34.16. Bernardo just has to kneel down to summon a Ryan Stratis for a back slap. It's incredible how many times Bernardo was able to correct the bar on Super Salmon Ladder. Often times we see competitors falling after attempting even one correction. I could see there being some kind of Steps challenge each year. Don't know how I feel about Big Air Grab, but I could see them trying something else with a large drop trampoline. Mega Wall isn't going away. Thunderbolt could be replaced with another Peg challenge to keep it fresh each year. Supersonic Shelf Grab could be replaced with a Flying Squirrel challenge. Since it took two competitors with two attempts each for one of them to reach 15 feet this year.
Results for convenience... {Team Competition}Relay Race Team Kristine - Jessie Graff, Flip Rodriguez, Nicholas Coolridge Team Matt - Chris Wilczewski, Najee Richardson, Jesse Labreck Team Akbar - Grant McCartney, Neil Craver, Meagan Martin

I honestly don't mind the team comp too much-gives us a chance to see guys we might never see attempt Stage 3 do so, and see if they have a legit shot of achieving total victory. {Spoiler} Loved seeing Geoff end his ANW days with a win-how fitting. Bs that they digested it, but wouldn't be surprised if it was an editing decision made after hearing he was not competing next year.Loved seeing Geoff end his ANW days with a win-how fitting. To be fair, they showed Isaac last year before he left the show in his a*****e fashion. Geoff left on good terms too

Yeah, for the next All Star Special, they should show ALL skills comps and get rid of the team relay things.

Yeah, for the next All Star Special, they should show ALL skills comps and get rid of the team relay things. I don't know. I would have agreed last year but this team relay was just fast enough since there weren't individual runs, and we got to see some big stars (not just women--Coolridge, Flip, and Najee were highlights) take on later stages. But that's just my opinion. I definitely don't like them skipping skills (and not even posting them online yet). I'd opt for 3 hours if NBC allowed. Plus you get great one liners like "At least we're moving faster than your team...sitting on the bench!"

Coolridge absolutely killed it. Did exactly what he had to on stage 1. But stage 3, I don't think I've ever seen someone move through a cliffhanger so easily, or do the hang climb effortlessly with no feet. The dude is actually a monkey. I know he's known more for acrobatics/acroyoga, but his upperbody strength was on full display and it was wonderous. Then he won the trampoline competition over Brent Steffensen, who used to compete on a trampoline team.
They really messed up by focusing on the dumpster diving thing when he was a rookie. He's an incredible athlete (seriously, look at his instagram) that is living his dream as a movement artist. If they play that story line, he could be a star.

I quite like this putting full runs on Youtube that weren't shown in the broadcast idea; hopefully it happens on Season 9 too. Also, I don't understand how they had an insanely exciting idea and 4 of the greatest ninja competitors of all time with the Pegboard, and still opted out of showing it fully on the broadcast.
