Why wasn't he on the original team? Was it because of his injury?

I don't think that last guy is André Sihm of Sweden. Bjarke Tønnesen of Denmark posted this on Instagram a couple months ago. Plus his account description mentions USA vs The World 2016. https://www.instagram.com/p/BG9NHWVvjJ1 I think he was last man standing on Denmark last year.

My Team USA would be Drew Drechsel, Daniel Gil, Joe Moravsky, Brian Arnold, Jake Murray, and Josh Levin.

Any news on air dates? The finals didn't say anything of it. I guess we're waiting until later like the last year.

For those unaware USA vs. the World will not be shown next week the air date is still TBA (if it will be shown at all).

USA vs World is going to be sometime in May is what I am hearing. I swear they wait too long to air the specials. Also they need to point out all the athletes in them (for USA) were partaking in grueling course runs, skills challenge and akbar vs matt all stars without getting full rest.

Airing a year after it was taped? Why would they wait to show the 2016 special until after ANW9 starts airing? That makes no sense... This year they aired the 2015 in January on NBC. Esquire aired Team Ninja almost at the same time but they don't have the same audience for that. It's going to be super confusing to wait a year after to air it.. that literally makes no sense. The skills/all-star special aired reaaaally late.. to throw the whole grouping back to back to back is going to dilute the enthusiasm for season 9.. that will mean that they will be airing Ninja stuff for 2 more weeks longer than the previous year. They notoriously do poorly in ratings when they start too early or go too late. /sigh All of this while Ninja Warrior on Esquire debuts Rising episodes.. they are nuts to flood the market with too many specials..

Is there anything you know as a Vegas insider that the viewing audience never got to know?

Honestly won't know if I know anything more until I see what they air and by the time they air it in 9 months I might not remember lol. Skills/all star is going to be done sooner than USA vs the World I believe, but no idea on dates for that.
I hope they change their mind and air s*** sooner. Will update if I hear anything more specific.

Why instead of Chris Wilczewski competed Jessie Graff? He went to the 5th obstacle in the 2nd stage.

Why instead of Chris Wilczewski competed Jessie Graff? He went to the 5th obstacle in the 2nd stage. Because Jessie Graff made it further than any female in the history of ANW, and going by furthest obstacle reach, further than any female in Sasuke history as well. It's time to start pushing the new Kacy!

But once you watch you will be even more impressed with her than you were during the regular season.

He made it further on the obstacle than Brian josh or Jake. If they're going to make it a 6 person team he definitely deserves it over Jessie.
